Idea: Jungle quests

First lets lower the experience given by all camps a little. This will be compensated by the quests.

You can purchase a quest of your choice from the shop, so long as you have a jungler's item and smite. Quests would be relatively cheap, like say 100-300g and be trivial like:

  • steal an enemy camp
  • claim a skuttle
  • ward the enemy jungle revealing their location
  • make a successful gank (kill/assist)
  • claim a dragon

Completing a quest would reward the jungler with experience and twice as much gold as the quest cost.

There are a lot of things you can do with this idea. I am sure some of you can come up with a better way to implement jungle quests.

And what happen to the jungler who can't complete the quest because the enemy jungler completed it for them?

Is the quest then terminated and or becomes null?

I'm just saying because if the smarter jungler can sneak a dragon, their reward is that dragon buff + global gold. Etc. They don't need this buff to the jungler when it's whoever plays it better as a jungler.

Maybe you meant it for junglers who are behind?

It's a good idea, just might break snowballing in a really weird way.

anything that further removes xp from the jungle and putting it into some kind of objective will further shrink the already small list of viable junglers.

What if they made a jungle item that has some quests on it like you said.

Each one you complete grants you a 50 gold discount towards your jungle enchantment?

Put say 4 quests on the item

  • Steal 2 camps from the enemy jungle.
  • Take a Scuttle Crab
  • Score a kill from a gank
  • Take a Dragon or Rift Herald

XP? sure. But you want to give junglers more gold? They already get way, way, WAY too much.
