What's the difference?

Karma's soul-binding required very specific levels of teamwork to have it function. The teammate has to move in the same way Karma is moving or the tether will break.

Both of Kalista's soul-binding mechanics don't require as specific coordination. Her W simply requires that they attack the same target, which in lane should be happening anyway, and the ult is pretty independently controlled by each as it's the person being flung that decides where and when they actually ARE flung, while Kalista merely decides when to activate the ult.

Kalista's is more solo queue friendly than Pre-Rework Karma's tbh.

The only wrong is Karma didnt have DOTA IO's kit
