2400 dmg with Flash + R once a stray poke spell got rid of the spellsheid.
Meanwhile other AP Carries would struggle to do 2400 dmg with their full rotation on an opponent with Mercs and Banshees.
He told our midlaner that Banshees wasn't an MR item and he should buy real MR items.

Look, he can 100-0 some mages, but the guy has so much counterplay right now it's almost unfair for him. There are many troublemakers, and as annoying as Veigar is, he is the 100-0 nuke mage. That is his identity. He's not mobile (Ahri, Leblanc), his cc isn't instant and damaging (Annie), and the poor guy can't build full tank despite infinite scaling (Nasus).

DrCabes2 votesThe range on his ult is pretty short and you can zhonya block it and it puts it on cd. Also Veigar has no other reliable source of damage. I agree the enemy ap bonus is kinda stupid and as a Veigar player i would give up the extra ap ratio in a heartbeat for a usable E or kit that works with the current one.

R is a targeted skill.
With Flash lategame it's effectively a 1075 range nuke that deals 2400 dmg after MR is factored in.
Also how is one-shotting a primary carry with one button despite defensive items balanced in the least? Would it be balanced if Zed could press R on your AD carry and delete him without any of his skills (Q/W/E/Botrk/Ignite?).

RazorTS1 votesveigar's R does 500+100% ap + 80% opponent ap, to do 2400 raw dmg he needs to have 1400ap and R someone with 600 ap, mind you resistances, not factored in, lets add resists k? SO 30base+12 from flat runes, mids run them often+55 form
thats 97 mr lets say he has 
you still end up with 45 mr thats still 3480 ehp against magic damage at best his ulti did 2/3 ir 1/2 hp dmg........
