Zed nerfs where to hard

I'm thinking for a while now but I fear riot hit the nerf button to hard on yet. I really hate zed but honnestly I must admit they destroyed him.

Recently their was a game of C9 where zed was picked by incarnati0n. He litterly didn't use his ult the entire game. Litterly because it would get him killed or just overal lose the trade. This just doens't make sence add all for a champion and I don't think it's healthy. In a interview he said this:

Reed: Is Zed dead? incarnati0n: Zed is dead.

I think riot need to retweak his ult a little bit. Here are some suggestions

  • The mark itself aplies some damage. This way the ult add least deal some damage with zhonya while it prevent for been abused by banshee.
  • The duration of the mark increase to 4 seconds (from 3 seconds)
  • After 1 0.75 second, you can reactivate the ability.

I think the nerfs were fine.

I see other midlaners in all of my games now.

First of all, the opinion of ONE player, who could have been salty/ sarcastic is hardly evidence of a champion being underpowered.

Secondly, its obvious that you have never played zed or just have no idea how his kit works; either way you shouldn't be voicing opinions about his current state when you think his ultimate does no damage by itself (the ultimate does 100% of Zed's AD + X% of the damage done over the 3 second period).

The duration on the mark is fine; it gives champions the ability to run and evade getting popped instantly. If hourglass is your argument, I would say wait for the AP item change nerfs to see how the new itemization affects it. I kinda agree that hourglass in general is a little too strong, however buffing the duration to help deal with champions that build it leave champions that don't build hourglass is an even tougher spot for no reason.

I could understand the reactivation time coming down a little bit; a second might be a tad bit long, but being able to blink back nearly instantly was definitely unfair.

But overall, for an ability that grands intargetability, gap closes, and provides an escape, it doesn't really need to be much stronger.

Ew no. Just because a bunch of 'pros' said Zed is dead doesn't mean he is.

Seriously, I once saw this guy(post-nerf) carry a game by himself. Seriously, his entire team fed to like 20-5 by 20 minutes, and Zed was the only one with kills which were the 5(he ganked several times so it wasn't just a bad mid laner) but by the end of the game he came out something like 40 kills and 20-ish deaths and they somehow won.

Not saying Zed is OP but he definitely is not dead.

Zed is dead not because of the nerfs but because the meta changed. The tank meta gave him less and less people to ult and even if he ults and kills the adc most of the time he will be blown up. By the same logic you are using the Nid nerfs killed her but we all that's not true

People who think Zed is OP or anywhere near it need SERIOUS medical attention ASAP

Not hard enough.

Also, incarnation is a shitlord who is clearly responsible for C9's losing streak.
