separating the good Fizz players from the great ones!
Currently, I think Fizz is too strong. I'd like to see him brought down to the level of other AP Assassins, without completely gutting him and I have a few ideas on how to do that.
- Increase the cooldown of Playful/trickster. Playful trickster is a lot to Fizz, defense, mobility, wave clear and a good chunk of his damage. Raising the cooldown by 2 seconds at all levels might be enough to take him down to a more manageable level.
- Increase his Mana costs, and/or decrease his mana/regen. This wouldn't do much to his late game, but he might have a harder time getting there if he had to conserve his mana in lane.
- Lower the amount of damage his passive negates, lower his hp regen, and/or remove his MR/level stat. Basically lower his defense so harass syicks to him better. This will mean he has to decide between using playful/trickster to waveclear or dodge. Which could make him weaker against mid laners with good pushing potential, a traditional weakness for assassins.
- Shift some damage from his basic abilities to his ult. Lower the damage on playful/trickster and his dash, but have his ult give a big MR reduction. His ult can miss, this provides counter play, his basic kit doesn't offer a lot of counter play.
- Lower the scaling on his dash and/or playful/trickster. Lower his mid to late game 100-0 potential by just taking off some AP scaling from his basic abilities.
- Lower the duration Fizz is immune for Playeful/trickster. So his E/Zonias/E combo doesn't last as long as it does.
I think any one or two of these changes would put Fizz in a much healthier spot than he is now.
