separating the good Fizz players from the great ones!

Currently, I think Fizz is too strong. I'd like to see him brought down to the level of other AP Assassins, without completely gutting him and I have a few ideas on how to do that.

  1. Increase the cooldown of Playful/trickster. Playful trickster is a lot to Fizz, defense, mobility, wave clear and a good chunk of his damage. Raising the cooldown by 2 seconds at all levels might be enough to take him down to a more manageable level.
  2. Increase his Mana costs, and/or decrease his mana/regen. This wouldn't do much to his late game, but he might have a harder time getting there if he had to conserve his mana in lane.
  3. Lower the amount of damage his passive negates, lower his hp regen, and/or remove his MR/level stat. Basically lower his defense so harass syicks to him better. This will mean he has to decide between using playful/trickster to waveclear or dodge. Which could make him weaker against mid laners with good pushing potential, a traditional weakness for assassins.
  4. Shift some damage from his basic abilities to his ult. Lower the damage on playful/trickster and his dash, but have his ult give a big MR reduction. His ult can miss, this provides counter play, his basic kit doesn't offer a lot of counter play.
  5. Lower the scaling on his dash and/or playful/trickster. Lower his mid to late game 100-0 potential by just taking off some AP scaling from his basic abilities.
  6. Lower the duration Fizz is immune for Playeful/trickster. So his E/Zonias/E combo doesn't last as long as it does.

I think any one or two of these changes would put Fizz in a much healthier spot than he is now.

  1. idk bout it being a big source of damage...how often do I actually land it, idk I just use it as an escape/gap closer/dodge shit faceroll over everyone with q and w
  2. seems pretty high to me considering ur limited to 2 rotations or less
  3. some of the easiest decision I ever have to make
  4. not till you add some clarity to how aiming his fuqing ult works cuz I still dont know that shit and pray it hits someone
  5. so I have to 75-0 people now? doesnt exactly make it easier to lane against fizz ;l
  6. like alpha strike short?, I'ma want some haximum yi damage then ;c

honestly of all the assassins to complain about... fizz isnt even that high on my list

you can dodge the huge majority of his damage and with any sort of mobility he can never touch you without burning all his CDs. his on hit damage scales based on missing HP so if you dodge everything but his Q he doesnt even hurt.

He does his combo twice early game and Fizz is oom atm.

At least it's not Kassadin's or Poppy's passive

Shift some damage from his basic abilities to his ult.

Except that his ult can already almost instakill most spuishies late game by itself. It has 450+(100% AP) AOE damage + knockup. Not to mention it's impossible to miss after you gaplocse somebody.

Lower the duration Fizz is immune for Playeful/trickster.

Please do this so Fizz will hopefully not be permaban in my MMR anymore... (it's honestly the only reason i think people hate him)

1 is definitely the best idea. I'd say 3 is also feasible without hurting him too much. 6... not sure, would have to tinker around with that idea.

The rest I think would end up being a case of too much/too little without a really good mid way point.
