Kled has to be by far the strongest release champion in a while.

the fact that his mount dismount makes him invulnerable. lmao. immediately counters any burst champion. unkillable. you can't cc him during mount dismount. he assassinates any carry you have. and if you focus him you lose. the most ridiculous shit I've ever seen on a release champion. I went against a kled that had half my cs and had absolutely no idea how to play his champion all he did is charge into the team and win team fights just by brute force even after rushing 2 ad items in a row meanwhile i rush 2 tank items and hes twice as tanky as me

if you think my opinion is wrong or not accurate wait for winrate stats and lets see. a usual champion release winrate is around 35-40 percent winrate. jhin and taliyah were around there and they rose up to over 50% a cpl weeks later. I'd bet kled's winrate is gonna be 50% on first release patch mark my words

Not everyone plays ranked or draft all the time, and a champion shouldn't make you but he's too op

The mount/dismount is so brief, it's maybe 0.1 seconds where he can't be hit. You'd have to time your burst combo PERFECTLY to when he dismounts to mess it up that badly that he blocks it with his dismount. And once you dismount him, he has only like 250 movement speed. Just watch his health bar and wait to unleash your burst combo until after he loses Skaarl, at which point he's so squishy and immobile (lacking his E, R, and most of his movement speed + the fact that any health items he buys don't benefit Kled's health bar, only Skaarl's) that he'd just die instantly unless he's building resistances. If he's building full AD, ulting in, and just brute forcing fights and winning them, you're clearly bad.

You have probably never seen an AD kled, he has more tanky stats than some people that go full tank with just a black cleaver. On top of that, he does so much damage it's insane, and if you target him or not you are screwed

This is untrue. It just feels that way because his mount health plus his base health start out a little higher than most champs. If you consider that his auto only does 80% dps once dismounted, he essentially can't run away due to slow move speed when unmounted, that he can't control 1/3 of his kit (his w), and the fact that he loses access to 1/3 of his kit when dismounted, I'd actually say he's in need of a buff. I haven't played against a Kled who i haven't just dominated in lane.

More than likely the buffs he'll get will come with a couple nerfs. His %health damage scaling on his ult will probably go down and I wouldn't be surprised if his bear trap saw an increased cooldown or decreased AD ratios.

He has almost no downsides currently.

I'm not ready to call him OP, but my initial impression is that he is at the very least top tier. He certainly isn't in the position Taliyah was during her release, that's for sure.

Kled is under-powered in terms of "strongest"

NobleSteve1 votes

He isn't that strong whatsoever. You can't use burst attacks while he is on his mount because nothing will happen. High cc champs like lux/morgana shut him down because he can't stick to people that way. Champs that have long range jumps like tristana/zac hurt him because he can't stick to them. Never let him bait you when his about to get skaarl even if he is very low unless you can poke him down. Otherwise if he just lost skaarl chase him. He has very low movement speed aside from his shotgun. He actually fairly balanced while just being a little on the strong side. The reason why he is so tanky is just because having a low total health brute doesn't make much sense. (Not counting assasins. Also looking at you mordekiser.)

He's currently at 43-44% win rate. If the enemy top laner has half a brain, they can make kled useless.
