It's not possible that he could be nerfed over claims of him being op right? I mean he really isn't as since I main him I can confirm, high mobility champs DESTROY him.

They mostly don't balance around 'claims', since they have all the behind the scenes data. They'll occasionally do theoretically power neutral things if perceived power is out of line with their actual power. They also don't balance around low elo for the most part, and generally aim to balance around a plat-ish level.

As far as I can tell yorick is roughly balanced. People just sometimes underestimate how much damage yorick can do with his maiden alongside him, which could lead to claims of him being OP as people casually try to tank him+maiden in lower elo.

one does not simply tank Yorick, Vayne or Trundle.

Yorick does what he does very well, lane push and pressure. If left alone, or given the chance, a good player and take both lane towers and start working on the inhib tower in a short manner. His team fight is also not bad. But a large portion of that is having ult up or active, and baring that, good cs management to have 3 or 4 ghouls at all times.

Like a Nasus, you cant just let him do what he wants in lane when he wants it. You have to prevent his power windows.
