How adptative Armor and MR would/will work?
Like Camille's shield? It seems confusing; like, would you lose or gain Armor/MR in middle fight? Or get Armor against a Mage because he basic attack'd you?

like adaptive ad/ap. gainst armor/magic resist depends on what u have more BONUS of

Armor would likely win every time because MR values are generally lower (even for bonus from items). I'm talking tanks though, not those ad/ap carries buying a single hex/zhonya's for defense.
Another issue is ad scales unlike AP, so its easier to weigh AD vs. AP since if you have even a tiny amount of AP, its from items suggesting you're adaptive AP.
With everything, MR and armor scales so its harder to weigh which if which if you have one value that particular low in base stats and scaling.
If we are going to say it changes based on the enemies then the only way I could see it is like Camille shield, but it is based around enemy champion builds and level and it can not change while in combat.
It's usually based on how much of each type of damage a certain champion dealt all game
aka cam would get a physical shield against full crit malzahar
But then we would have a problem: if I get poked by a lux support, get MR, I would have nothing to face her Draven ADC, for example. When you stop to think about the scenarios, the whole adaptative armor/mr concept becomes tricky.
That's why you wouldn't auto attack the lux support first
