Not sure what to think about the new kit. It's not terrible, but it's not fun either. Feels a little clunky. It feels meh.

  • Armor passive is good in some places. Very nice to start a fight with, but it basically is useless afterward.
  • My biggest concern with the armor passive is it is too powerful and too frontloaded. I think I'd prefer a smaller buff that lasts longer or renews when I use a skill.
  • Her damage passive has power, but getting to the point to use it isn't great if you don't have melee teammates around
  • I don't like her new W overall. Most of the damage seems like it is too easy for the other team to dodge so you need to be able to predict where they'll be.
  • In terms of speed, I think her new W is an improvement over her old one and I'm actually fine to see it go.
  • last two points put together means I think she needs another new W. Maybe a single cone shaped sweep.
  • her W animation looks terrible when she is casting it behind her.
  • her new e feels terrible overall. Even with an AS item, building it up is painfully slow. I think it'll be worse at elos where the ADC and other squishies can kite. It almost feels like it is an anti-tank/bruiser skill. It feels slow once you hit the E key as well.
  • while I think the payoff of her E+P is okay, getting there just isn't any fun by yourself.
  • She needs a new E.
  • I'm serious, she doesn't normally build AS and there's no guarantee the other melee will either, she doesn't build AD or crit, but you are expecting her flail away with a useless flail. You know who she's hitting with it? Either a tank with 300 armor or trying to catch a squishy with 415 move speed and 2 dashes while the enemy team has her stun locked.
  • Her clears feel slow but easy.
  • Because of how her armor passive and E works, she's terrible at soloing a dragon.
  • I don't hate her new ult, but I notice it is weaker. I just wish I felt more new power elsewhere in her kit.
  • I feel like she's lost peel ability, she's got CC but it isn't responsive and it doesn't work up close if you want the good stun.

I don't hate the new kit overall, but I don't like it either. I think riot was right in changing the W, but wrong in what they changed it to. The new passive needs work and her new E is trash. She probably needed more work, but the limited scopes of the midseason BS wouldn't let riot actually spend the time they needed to go back to the drawing board and get her right.

Some of these points are...odd.

For example, in what world is Sejuani's old Passive more fun and less clunky and less meh than her old passive? This kills your first and third point, and your second point is literally the opposite direction of what Riot and much of the community considers more fun and exciting.

I also take it you didn't like two of our best reworks yet, Sion and Poppy, based on point 4.

In regards to point 7, who actually has the eyes to focus on something that small in combat. I understand she is a Jungler and you will be staring directly at her, but this seems like a really small thing to be complaining about since it also seems like something the animation team can fix with relative ease.

The point of tanks is that you're not the one man army - that's literally the Juggernauts' job - it's that you're setting up your teammates. It would be a really odd utility tank ability if Sejuani is capable of quickly and reliably procing her E on her own since it would grant rather significant dueling potential for basically no difference in teamfights where she's supposed to be strongest.

Also I'm not sure if you're aware that you can flail while charging with her Q. That basically instantly sets up 3 stacks assuming you're not also bad at aiming her Q.

Someone clearly wasn't around during Cinderhulk Sej.

Again she's a Tank. Doing things alone easily and reliably sounds backwards, so complaining that she can't solo dragon is odd.

Considering she basically devolved into an ult bot before the rework, her ult being weaker now makes more sense than anything.

Considering she's also now considered a Vanguard instead of a Warden, it also makes sense that she lost peel and instantly responsive CC.

Honestly every point here is missing, well, the point, of whatever they're talking about.
