Look, I get that pretty much every marksman is put into the ADC role. But can we please stop referring the marksmen class as ADC? I don't see why we need to differentiate carries like 
or 
as "melee carries" when ADC doesn't even specify ranged attacks in the damn name.
Jefftiffy1 votesActually in League terms. Every marksman is an ADC. And not every melee is a mADC. The only ADC that I feel like is misclassified is Ezreal because, let's be honest. His late game is almost none-existent compared to every other ADC so he actually suits the marksman role. Marksman = ranged physical AA champs. And most ranged characters are mage. The only other person I could see classified as a marksman is 
, but his primary would be tank/fighter. I guess we could throw 
under marksman too. But saying that all marksmans are ADCs is basically true except for outliers.
The only reason Marksman still exists is because Riot can't just call something a carry. It would be so much easier to classify people as mages, tanks, fighters, supports, and carries.
