Make It Impossible to Ban Indicated Pick

There’s no reason to let people ban indicated champs, and there would be no way to abuse the system since you can’t indicate a champ during ban phase.

Yes, I did just leave a queue where someone banned my main, and yes I’m upset. But you would be, too, and there’s no reason to let it happen.

  • If you have a low pick and a team mate doesn't want the enemy team taking a champ before you.
  • If you are clearly taking a troll off-role pick.
  • If you are trolling a teammate that has indicated the same pick.
  • If the enemy has a hard counter to what you plan to pick.

Those are some good reasons. Here are my answers.

  1. That applies only to a very narrow pool of champs in certain situations.
  2. The person could always just take another troll pick.
  3. Same as above. They could always just take another troll pick.
  4. Not sure what you mean, but banning someone’s main to eliminate one of your counters is unfair.

Being able to ban a priority pick champ is not as important as letting someone have their main, especially in lower elos where people tend not to pick champs for teammates, which you can also do if you want to secure a champ.

4th point I do not get. How would you know the enemy team is going to pick a counter champion? Do you really know if they even do good with said champion and feed the person who knows how to play said champion?

Only real valid point would be the first one would be really acceptable if the said champion is broken in current meta IMHO. Banning a OTP's champion will likely cause them to feed really. As saying auto-fill is a thing, and you can't always get your desired role.
