I swear whenever I'm in promos, matchmaking specifically matches me with players who troll, AFK, or have a sub 40% winrate. I really wouldn't be bothered except there is literally no reason you shouldn't be able to dodge promos without taking an automatic loss. Lee Sin ADC? Oh wait, can't dodge or it's a guaranteed loss. Great.

piggybacking onto your concept, we should also have more successive LP losses per dodge like 3,6,9 etc. so we can dodge more games because I can already predict the quality of games just by looking at match histories.
