The "problem" people have with ADCs is that they are a required part of every game (we'll see if Mordekaiser changes that), and that's because they are essentially the most powerful class when it comes to winning games.

Not quite. It's because they are the most powerful class when it comes to taking turrets. That's the main reason they are in every game.

Meh, not really. Everyone else has to make sure the ADC doesn't die and gets fed for it to even matter. It's just something a team wants in siege situations.

Right, and everyone works to mommy the ADC because they are the most powerful class.

You can let a Malphite fall behind his laning opponent and still win the game. It is much more difficult to win if the enemy ADC is more fed than yours.

I don't think that's true if you have reliable engage I've won lots of games on zed or annie just by blowing p there fed carries even tho our team was behind. I think mid is a lot more of a problem cause when people fall behind mid they usually feed out of control

you get the ADC fed because they're the strongest. Why aren't you getting Blitzcrank fed?

Even carry tops, jungles or mids aren't being spoonfed kills. When was the last time someone said "get Riven/Yi/Ziggs fed they'll carry"? Rarely. Its more like "HELP BOT YOU MORONS, YOU CANT SOLO CARRY WITHOUT THE ADC".

You can let Malphite or even Riven fall behind. Riven isn't that bad when behind since she can build full tank and still have utility through her stuns, knockups and item 3071 . You absolutely cannot let your ADC fall too far behind.

As someone who has played a ton of adc mostly jinx and vayne I think the problem is the gap between the top tier adcs jinx vayne kalista sivir and the rest of the adc's. If my team has lucian or twitch and the other team has vayne or jinx I go into that game expecting to lose or I just dodge. The fact that the best late game adcs are also fine in lane is a bit of a problem but mostly I think it is just a lot of adc's are weak outside of tier 1

You can hardly take towers without ADC - you need: long range AP with lichbane or splitpush/backdoor, or diving tanks with Ohmwrecker and someone with enough dmg to 3shot the tower during the time of disable.
