Shadow assassin isn't weak at all Rhaast is way stronger since you need something tanky in all cases , even Lux can 1 vs 1 shadow assassin , but the good thing about Shadow assassin is that he can kill ad carries faster , personally in most cases I take Rhaast

Not if you play it right. If you're good at other assassins (meaning you're quick and stuff), you should be fine on shadow assassin. It still really depends on your comp and the enemy comp for the most part.

Shadow assassin is very strong actually, and generally I think it is better than rhaast

theyre both weak, and which one is better depends on team compositions

Rhaast was never better than Shadow Assassin. Shadow Assassin just has a higher skill cap. Technically Shadow Assassin in the right hands can out damage/kill/farm Rhaast by far. And can assassinate better, and even does enough onset damage to hurt tanks and 1 shot nontanks. He has never been weak.

Rhaast is the pick for a player who doesn't do well in a game without sustain. Shadow Assassin is for the player who can kill you before you even see him.

They are both literally the same exact thing, you pick one to combat bruisers and tanks. The other to combat mages and ADCs.

If youre good at one, you will inevitably be good at the other one.

They really aren't.

Shadow Assassin works more like Zed.... Attack with a clone and keep moving. Rhaast = stay in the fight, face tank, and knockup.

Shadow assassin deals 30% damage in additional Magic damage. mixing up his damage types, and increasing assassination potential. Rhaast deals less damage, but self heals, and has cooldowns short enough he can make up for it.

Rhaast basically = Warwick. Shadow Assassin = Zed.

I've been killed in 1 combo by Shadow Assassin with a 3600 HP Nami with 181 Armor 246 Resist. He does fine vs tanks too.

It actually depends on the game flow and the enemy team, which is really really impressive.

Riot's been trying for years to have decisions like that actually be situational instead of one just being mathematically better, and I'm pretty sure this is their first success ever.

blue was never weak to begin with they both have their spots in the game its just red has more general use than blue since in most games theres gonna be a tank and someone who builds sorta tanky making sa just worse in comparison but if they lack alot of health then sa just works better since you have aoe burst damage

Rhaast is not necessarily better than Shadow Assassin, neither is the opposite.

Shadow Assassin, as the name suggest, is an assassin. He is very high risk, high reward. You use him to combat squishies; he has better mobility and more upfront burst than Rhaast, and thus is better at doing the assassin job. He is very squishy however; one misplay mean he is dead. Shadow Assassin is better at dealing with tank busting ADCs and mages like Vayne, Kog'Maw, or Brand, because he can kill them before they can kill him, whereas Rhaast would not be able to kill them as fast and would be outsustained and kited.

Rhaast is more reliable many times, but he fills a completely different role. He deals less damage, but has sustain and better defenses. He is way less durable. He is also better at dealing with tanky targets thanks to his sustain and his damage being based on a percentage of their health. He is a better duelist too. He is safer to play, although he is not going to instaburst a target like Shadow Assassin does, so he is less rewarding if your team desperately needs to get rid of an enemy target as fast as possible. Rhaast is also very good against assassins, as he shrugs off their burst, CC them, and kill them easily.

Before the new runes, Rhaast was more reliable but not necessarily better than Shadow Assassin. He was a better choice in most cases, whereas Shadow Assassin was a more cheesy choice.

After the new runes were introduced, Shadow Asssassin became more reliable and outclassed Rhaast in almost all situations, as Rhaast lacks a good keystone, but Shadow Assassin has plenty of keystones to choose. With the new rune Conqueror, peharps Rhaast can, once again, have something he can use, so he can finally not be outclassed and return to be a more reliable choice than Shadow Assassin in most cases.

Currently though, I would say; If anything, Shadow Assassin is better than Rhaast, as the latter doesn't have a good keystone to use, as I explained. This can be changed in the next patch.
