Could I have tips for playing Tristana?

I don't know why, but I can't play her to save my life. I was mystery gifted her dragon trainer skin so I thought I'd pick her up. It's just constant feeding on my end. The adcs I play are Ashe and Caitlyn, and I do alright with them usually (for me at least. I'll admit that I'm possibly the worst adc player oce). I don't understand how Tristana is so different.

I have not played Marksman a lot lately but when I used to play her I had a lot of success maxing Q first and focusing on farming/split pushing most of the game. She is pretty safe for split pushing

You can use your ult during your rocket jump. Also, using your E on a minion and then charging it can make for good wave clear.
