Blitz Mini rework idea

#Passive: Overdrive

STEAM: Blitz generates 1% maximum Steam for every 59 / 52 / 46 units he travels by any means, requiring a total of 5900 / 5200 / 4600 units traveled to obtain maximum Steam.

DRIVE: At maximum STEAM, the next instance of champion or monster damage against Blitz or on activation of one of blitz abilities consumes all of his STEAM and Blitzcrank supercharges himself, gaining bonus attack speed for 5 seconds and bonus movement speed that decays to 10% over the duration.

To clear it up, blitz gains charges while moving arround. If he get's damaged or using one of his abilities the steam consumes and he get's a similar effect he had with Overdrive.

#W: Lightning bolt (new)

Blitzcrank calls down a lightning bolt upon the target area which strikes after a 0.5 second delay, dealing magic damage to one enemy within and slows him by 30% for 1.5 seconds. If the lightning bolt hits an ally he gains a shield that last for 3 seconds.

Basicly blitz old ult passive now as a targeted ground ability. When hitting a enemy it slows them what makes it easyer to land your Q. When it hits an ally or himself it gives you a shield. So basicly his old passive on command. The shield scales with mana like his old passive.

#R (tweaks)

Passive removed

As someone who plays blitz quite frequently, this would make him absolutely OP. His main weakness is if he misses his Q he's half worthless. Now your trying to give him a tool that not only can poke and would be a 4th form of CC in blitz's kit, but would also make his Q easier to land. Also I can only imagine the damage you can do when you put a qewr combo on someone.

100% that

also noone even uses stuff like twin shadows on blitz ... if that catches a nenemy carry ... they have to burn a dash/flash or they get grabbed easy

It would been a buff on landing his Q. But also a indirect nerf since you no longer can controle you overdrive. You basicly have to prepare your action before actualy going for it. The W will also not be easy to land & let's say with 200-250 range & a delay of 0.5 seconds maybe even with a channel animation it's not that reliable as you might think. I feel they would rather use it to shield allies or as zoning controle than actualy using it offensively.

It wouldn't be that good as a shield because of its delay. Usually when you need to shield an ally you need to shield them immediately and without the ability to miss otherwise it would often mean the difference between life and death for that ally, especially at high level play. Also you wouldn't use it to zone with that much because blitz already has huge mana issues in the laning phase. Finally the movement speed thing isn't all that much of a nerf based on how you have it set up because you would simply hit E to activate it. In fact I would go so far to say its a buff since it would be more mana friendly AND it would remove the slow that the current W has.
