[LOOKS LIKE SIGNIFICANT TOOLTIP CHANGES, UNSURE IF THESE ARE ACTUALLY IN GAME OR JUST SOME SORT OF DORK UP WITH THE MYMU AROUND CORNER]

P - "Cassiopeia gains Movement Speed per level, but she cannot purchase Boots items."

Q - "Cassiopeia blasts an area with Poison after a brief delay, granting her increased Movement Speed if she hits an enemy champion."

W - "Cassiopeia releases several clouds of poison, lightly damaging and slowing any enemy that happens to pass through them. Enemies affected by this poison are Grounded, losing the ability to use Movement abilities."

Yep. I did. It wasn't supposed to go to PBE today.

That said, this is what's cooking for Cassiopeia at the moment in the mages update. It won't stay on the PBE for more than probably just this weekend, so if you want to check it out, I guess now's your chance.

In some cases, her passive was OP as goodness. Giving bonus AP, from 5% to 10% to 30%!!! And giving CD reductions and a heal?

Bonus AP means nothing if your ratios are balanced around you having way more AP than the average. Same with CDR. And now the heal is baked in.

So we are losing nothing in exchange for not being able to buy Sorc Boots, which seems fair to me.

Why does everyone think Kennen is a she?

-Lore/story states he is a he -If it's a she, she is really flat chested -His voice doesn't sound feminine, for a yordle at least -Surgeon skin portrays him in a stereotypical male-surgeon outfit -he's a guy

I know is early and probably is not the final tooltip, but should change her W "grounded" to "crippled", since it might sound like they can't get knocked up/back.

We considered "crippled" but thought maybe the expectation there would be that they are also always slowed (which happens to be the case for this spell, but won't necessarily be the case for all like it in the future).

What does this add to the champion? It seems like a net neutral to me except in rare, very long games where champions would sell their boots for a different 6th item and Cassiopeia will still get to walk faster.

Well, it does give her access to other items earlier, both in the gold she saves from not buying boots, and from making it easier to buy more component items. Also "extra" item slot for most of the game (for a pink ward, perhaps). I don't think it's a hugely impactful passive, but it's pretty nice

Just dashes and blinks. Includes spellcasts, but also things like Kalista passive, Magical Journeys, and Thresh Lanterns.

Obviously not necessarily something you can answer but any idea if you're quite set on the removal of the Twin Fang reset? Not necessarily a bad change but it's a big one.

The reset on the spell is gone, but the cooldown is 1 second or less baseline.

Cass main here! o/ I am gonna copy paste one comment that I put in another thread. Hope it get some feedback! "I am a little bit dissapointed with the passive I must say.... I wonder if it would make her feel swift though... I was expecting a more interactive passive, this one sounds just plain basic and overall meh... :/ also miasma is pretty much the same, but the new cc is nice I suppose, It would be nice that it would spread faster and a little bit bigger, also, would it stop dashes aswell? like for example, lee sin throws the Q at you, but you throw the miasma on the way, so when he dashes to you, he would get stuck in the miasma, that would be greaaaattt (this of course would not count to unstoppable abilities like malph's R"

Cassiopeia has a lot of good tactical moment to moment gameplay already with plenty of inputs. A passive that required her to change the way she played in combat runs the risk of feeling really unnatural to the champion. The gameplay behind this passive really comes down to how a player interacts with the item shop, and she will have different interactions than any other champion in this regard. Effectively, she gets to dump ~1000g into combat effective power.

As for Miasma, the spell you see on the PBE is NOT the spell that is being shipped with the update. It will have the Grounded debuff, but it will NOT target the same as the current Miasma.

i really like what u did on passive and w and small question does the target need to be poisoned for e or not? like u do e but deal no damage unless the arget is poisoned?

The intended effect for E is targeted light damage, but increased to moderate damage if the target is poisoned.
