S6 I was Bronze

I made a new account for the new season. I hit level 30 and have played with Gold and Platinum every single game.

The game I just left from was about the same. The Gold mid and Gold top were 50% of the enemies' kills. I had 2 deaths until the 4 man rape fest. I ended with 7 deaths compared to the 7 and 11 from mid and top.

Did I buy items out of order or didn't I simple not have enough MR ? Any suggestions

Aside from a few missteps in positioning.. can anybody help me understand what to do to improve my chance of winning? I would greatly appreciate it.
