Urgot op now?

FireDrizzle··2 votes·1,472 views

I just played Nasus Vs Urgot and Urgot outdamaged everyone on his team by a huge amount and outdamaged our team. I honestly couldn't teamfight that game, I felt like ad master Yi but more kitable. Don't tell me not to teamfight pls, my team will fight with or without me, or 3v5. But honestly I don't see how he does this much damage. Atm I think he is hopeless to play melee vs like Graves when he is strong. Outranges you, but does a lot of damage in melee anyway.

Yeah I can see your very upset about your own playerskill being so bad with your 3/6/6 Feeding Nasus. That you come here attempting to get a okayish champion nerfed. I say okish bc he's not good.

Let me explain my reasoning......

Even though the Urgot had most damage, I'd like to point something out to everyone. His score 12/7/9. Why do I bring that up? Because he didn't have the highest score, but not only that. The fact is the 2 highest kda were on your team. 15/9/13 and a 14/9/8. Let me also point something out Your team won. Now if i could deal % hp damage to say a champion that generally builds lots of hp.... say a Nasus during lane. I could shoot him for days. Thus boosting up a damage score on the games card. Also being is a 3/6 hes not very good, so I'd prob get myself 6 kills half of my total score and bc your a natural tank you aborbed alot of that damage during the laning phase.

The short version his, he whooped you in lane and by doing so boosted his own damage numbers, you being the champion that you are a "Nasus" after all. Now does the face Urgot can beat a "scaling late game champion" Nasus in lane make him OP? NO. Being he had such a lead over you was he able to use it to win his team the game? Again NO. So basically you think a champion that can win lane but not game is OP?

my 1st death was 14 minutes in going to lee sin, cant remember how, next was in a 2v3 situation I didn't engage. Look at the history of the kills lol, he killed my team quite a few times before ever killing me.

I fed because I could barely reach anyone in the fights, just burst down. Not my best game ever I'm sure, but you cant make assesments off a scoreboard.

At level 13 from the mid game to late game he becomes ineffective even with the mid game buff as he isn't a good team fighter, can't split push that well, easy to kite, no engage or peel (unless you count his E ability which has a delay & short distance), so you lose out on a tanky engage by picking urgot for your team, so i guess he can be useful by protecting the carry with his E. Telling you all this from experience since i just got out of a 1hour & 14min game with urgot, won my lane hard but my team was behind and I experienced every point stated above and lost the game. Even though i lost i had a blast playing urgot. love the rework.

(Remember to note which shot gun knee is on cooldown and fight/stay on that section because his passive is his primary source of damage) Try using these champs against urgot Rumble - poke & farm safely/dmg on par with urgot/better team fight, mana less Gnar - better poke & auto range, sustain, mobility to escape urgot w, mana less Renekton - can dash(s) away from urgot w, sustain, better team fight, mana less Teemo - If you have no mechanics so you can just blind urgot during urgot W Riven - super mobile can avoid all of urgot's abilities and win trades by doing so (depends on skill level), mana less, better team fight, etc kennen - range with autos/abilities, mobile escape for urgot w, better team fight, mana less, in general can destroy urgot top Ryze - can destroy urgot top to lazy to state why but his snare is big reason part of it, etc etc Yasuo - windwall for ult/autos, mobile, etc etc Fiora - can easily reposite urgot's w since it has a delay/tell which then stuns him, Q or dash around him easily to avoid/position around his shot gun knees that are on cooldown. Fun match up

My assesment of him was biased by playing an immoblile melee vs him. Its a normal thing to do I think. When the counterplay to something is avoid being hit it or stay out of range it screws immobile melees.

Like Galio bullying physical damage melees that cant counter him better than facing ap champs, which probly isnt much of a thing now with the changes to him. Galio definatley doesnt bully as well.

.

Thanks for the info on matchups, Renekton does feel good against him yeah.

No problem, hope this match up info helps. Also forgot to list jax with his stun that dodges urgot passive and he can jump out. Fyi jax gonna be op next season with "press the attack" keystone since it gives him unlimited ad/ap and 12% increase dmg.

He's still quite UP, and you should have destroyed him as Nasus.

What rune page were you using?

FireDrizzle1 votes

lethality marks, armour seals and then cdr. It was out of lane that was the problem though.

No wonder, Lethality would be really bad VS Urgot or any other Juggernaut.

It doesn't take lethality that long to scale, they outscale ad, and that's if you aren't a champ who deosnt have good ad scalings. AD marks don't help me not get burst down in a teamfight anyway.
