I literally lost a game because of Heimerdinger. My team was constantly shoved in our base due to him constantly shoving in waves with and . We couldn't stop him since we couldn't wade through the mess of minions. Everyone was doing pretty well but we didn't have massive waveclear, even though that wouldn't have done much.

I played GP, who arguably has some of the highest counterplay in the whole game, against a champ who's utterly boring to face and is a pain.

Is there some way to stop him before he wins? Is there some way to stop the endless tide of minions? Or can we expect some form of rework to change him from this brainless pushing champ into an actual mage?

Yeah typically a good gp will beat Heimer in lane. The insane move speed will usually allow gp to dodge his stun easily. Poke turrets with Q and barrels also Yasuo Malphite Malzahar Talon Tryndamere Ziggs Garen Galio Fizz Zac Rumble MissFortune MasterYi Maokai Katarina Irelia should be able to easily destroy him at a late point in the game while he pushes. Just to name a few
