Don't you love it when you get autofilled into your worst role, nobody wants to switch with you, and you end up going 1/12/6?

I, too, love autofill.

I play Nasus Darius mid now

I dont give a fuck, sometimes I win incredibly sometimes I lose horribly. If rito wants me to play other bullshit, I'll do it my way.

You can't guarantee that you would have done better than the person who was in the role you wanted. Riot put the Autofill system into place because not enough people were playing support and the queue times were too long trying to find someone who queued up for the support role. This system is actually a really good system overall. If you don't like playing support, that's fine, but this is a team game and you have to be able to play it as such.

Also, someone who only plays 1-2 roles is not a good League of Legends player, they are a good player in those roles. A good League of Legends player plays all 5 roles in the game. Autofill forces people out of their comfort zones and helps make them better players.

I play support 90% of the time, it has increased my que times. Mostly because its snatching people from roles they would rather play and putting them in matches I would have been support in.

As for your comfort zone thing... guess what, auto fill is making me, a support main want to support less because of how crappy the auto fill ADCs are. Its like trying to ride a walrus into battle vs someone on a horse. They have a height advantage, a speed advantage, and dont look like an assclown.

You think I want to support someone "out of their comfort zone!?" I dont, it sucks, so now the position theyre trying to fill to speed up que times is worse than it was, especially for support mains, when que times were long... except for support mains.

So if auto fill is because not enough people were playing support, it has gone a long way to make people who dont want to/dont know how to support piss off everyone else, and done its best to make people who do want to/do know how to support not want to.

Here's my opinion on the matter: Autofill should be removed

I can't change your mind or perspective on the matter, I realize that, but people are going to be out of their comfort zones in this game when they practice a new champion or role. It happens all the time. If you let your experience be ruined by forces outside of your control, which is the main reason why people hate this system, your experience declines. We become better teammates and players when we stop attacking people for having rough games and stop letting their game ruin ours. Most of our learning occurs when we are out of our comfort zones. This system is not bad at all. It may make you unhappy, but that's an attitude and perspective issue.

If I'm autofilled, I can promise not to die more than once if at all, and to stay within 20 cs of my lane opponent. Unfortunately, that's all that can ever be promoised, because I'm not going to carry as Top/Mid. I never play those roles, and if Riot forces me to, it's going to be a lackluster performance.

It's just a shame that my success in a competitive game depends on the RNG of Riot's role selection.
