did you use wave management to set up ganks for the jungler?
when there was battles over the scuttle crab in river, did you leave your lane for 10 seconds and respond to their ping to help them kill the enemy jg and get both of you fed?
when the jg pinged you they were comming to gank, did you just go back? or farm minions? or did you actaully stay and make that 2v1 get your team fed and give you lane advantage?
when your jungler pinged 400 times that drake was up and there was 5 man enemy bot, did you come down to help contest? or did you stay in lane to get that cannon.
did you ward your river? objectives? buffs? so your jungler could watch/track enemy jg and all laners and make a plan accordingly?
when you and jg were both mid lane by raptors. and there was a wave of minions. did you let the jungler clear raptors while you cleared minions, then worked together on pushing lane forward after? (you know, since junglers earn no gold/xp off lane)
thing is. for jg to be an impactful role. requires teamwork. requires a team that watches map. knows how and when and where to freeze wave so that your jungler can gank. responds to pings. has a concept of macro. makes plays NOW so that it will set things up for the next play, instead of just randomly fumbling about for things without a plan for what to do 1 minute from now.
if a jungler knows this. and their team knows this. its a win.
if jungler knows this. and team doesn't jungler is useless.
if team knows this and jungler doesn't. team is disadvantaged by bad jg.
tldr. its a team game. if you play as a team. you'll win.
