A simple mans solution to help with game balance.

Add a post game rating system for champions. One of the major issues with community feedback for league of legends is that it comes from a whopping 3 sources.

A vocal minority of people who're willing to create threads and talk about what their opinions are on forums like the boards and reddit.

Statistics from the game like pick rates, ban rates, and win rates which people don't really like.

And finally play testers which are once again a minority among the community that is representing everyone.

So what do I think the solution is? Create a system that allows the everyday player to easily give input towards the balance of the game by allowing them to rate champions in the post game lobby.

Example: A 1 click easy mechanic so it entices people to participate without taking up too much of their attention span, people aren't going to use it if it takes them too long.

A simple slider if you will. Allows you to rate a champion from 1 to 5 and each point represents how much you disliked this particular champion. It could be a champion you played, an ally played, or an enemy played. Has NOTHING to do with the player playing it, so don't even think it's related to the report function.

Allows Riot to gather data on what the general community dislikes for whatever reason they might have and actually investigate it.

The first iteration of this could be just as simple as I presented. No need for bells and whistles. Another good thing about this is that Riot could easily implement this system into one of the smaller regions like OCE for testing like they've done with other systems in the past.

IF the system works well, then you can think about future projects. Adding in a more advanced system that allows you to specify what you disliked, a rating for a champion that you thought was unbalanced/unfun to play against, a rating for a champion that you felt was weak, maybe even a rating for a champion that you just found boring or not fun to play.

Perhaps even add a feature that allows you to attach a short note for a small detail, the system has alot of possibilities.
