Who counters Mordekaiser botlane?

Ok as the thread title suggests, i am having difficulties against the new mordekaiser bottom lane. Recently my support alistar has gone against them, and due to the hyper aggressive nature that morde brings to the bot lane, I am having difficulties keeping him off of my adc simply due to the fact that he heals up and goes on my adc relentlessly. Now i know some of you are wondering why i cant keep a melee off of my adc, and its as simple as this, he just keeps coming, and any time he gets on my adc they die, simply due to the fact that i run out of mana very quickly due to the aggresive nature of morde. So my question to you, which support/adc do you guys play to counter morde?

lucian has a good time vs him because of his passive and his dash also a good leaona or janna just a supp with cc to keep him down another adc which is good would be ashe or trist they both have good range and burst.

if your playing as alistar, you are his ultimate counter. mordekaiser can only stick to people with the aid of his support, knock away the support instead of mordekaiser and he won't be able to stick, especially when they have his w up, thats probably the best time.

as for adc, just have anyone with a reliable escape Tristana for example would proably do exceptionally well against mordekaiser. just one more thing, don't play a champion just to counter another champion, unless you can play them just as well as your main.

his Q does a lot of damage but why he is so good is not his Q but his passive that blocks damage when you get his shield off he becomes super easy to kill. I played lucian/leona vs a mode/sion which is a hard lane and we just beat them out because morde could not do much with the cc lock. Another big thing on how to beat him is wait for his W to be down because of the big dps it does to both of you. Watch for his Q to come up and finish and use that to poke him so he has no counter engage with his Q down.

My best counter so far is Caitlyn. She can outpoke his shield with her autos and Q's. She can escape by running through trapped Brushes and if the enemy goes ham you can E away. Her empowered autos ignore armor which help slam him if he builds it
