Winning enough to stay where you are at will eventually bring your MMR in line with the average of your Rank, resulting in average MMR gains. Conversely, not winning enough will result in your Rank going down and eventually meeting your MMR, also resulting in average gains. Average gains are the goal of the system; that means it's trying to put you around your performance level.

Either way it goes, just play to improve yourself, not to gain elo. Ben & Jerry once said, "With great improvement comes great elo".

I see you've got some pretty low KDA's (you die for almost every kill you contribute to) across the board; I recommend warding much more and playing more safely.

Your MMR changes depending on how well you do in your ranked games, such as Farm, KDA, and whether or not you win the game. Honestly it jumps up and down all the time, if you have any questions just ask I will happily answer them

Dude, right? I logged after a night of good ranked performance and had a 1k+ MMR according to op.gg. But logging in the next morning after one rank loss it fell to 990~. WTF? Then another loss and it was 895. WTF is going on? It makes no sense. And I've been getting a LOT of stupid mofos in my games. I'm not even exaggerating. These players just don't know WHAT to do or how to build or how to prioritize objectives. But according to their placements last season they should be stomping people.

This system is so infuriating. How to people even progress through this??
