So I am currently bronze 1 and im struggling to get out.In most matches it was a bad support that destroys my LP. I played support position and liked it so i switched it to my main lane.Im wondering if I can carry myself out of bronze on support, and what champ do you suggest. (Really like Janna and Morgana) :)

I don't recommend support for carrying out of bronze. By definition, supports are meant to build advantages for the other members on the team, so if they suck, you lose, even if you're a good support. If you really want to carry, play mid or jungle.

If you reaaaaaally want to support, go for the offensive champs that can still carry (zyra, AP Sona, maybe even karma). Zyra and Sona are solid choices. Janna won't get you out of bronze unless you can find a good adc to duo with. Morg probably won't either.

I got out of bronze by playing nothing but Leona support. I don't see any reason why you can't.

A lot of people don't understand how important a good support is. I could carry even some of the worst ADCs to become fed. My first season I went from S5 to S1 in 4 days playing Nautilus support, to which I hit G2 during the pre-season.

When I play other lanes such as top or jungle, I will do fine. Even be ahead, or in the jungle even fed, but we almost always lose lane due to our bot lane, so then I go back to support.

Hello friend. Im a support main. I started my season 6 rank in bronze 1. TBH, as a support, it is hard to get out to elo hell, but it is not impossible. Im currently Silver 2. the way I got out from bronze is I PLAY LIKE A B#TCH (Sky William Ref). I mained two support champ. Braum and Sona. if my team need tank, i go with Braum, else Sona. Your ADC can be good and also bad. Your job is to protect his a##. ALWAYS BUY A PINK WARD item 2043 in your first or secpnd recall. If your ADC doesnt buy a pink ward, tell him to buy. it is part of your job. To escape bronze, item 3649 VISIONS is key. the way i buy my item is the first upgrade of your support item which are one of those three: item 3301 item 3302 item 3303 with item 1001 and item 2043 . After this i build the sightstoneitem 2049 with the red trinketitem 3341 . Put wards where you think the oppoent jungler will come. Then you go with your core items. Make sure you buy a zz'rot portalitem 3512. It might sound silly, but it helped me alot. This item is a great split pusher, defender. For core items, I cannot tell what to buy exactly, since every supp champ are different. However, to sole this problem, follow a guide in Mobafire or LolKing (or any of your fav champ guide website). It will help you what to build. Also, it will depend on the situation too. As a support, you have to believe your teammates. I have nothing to say anymore. Just believe in yourself. So, good luck and have fun, my friend.

I started the season in mid silver (after ending last season in low gold), and have cruised my way up to mid plat using almost exclusively Janna, so it's definitely doable from silver upwards.

Bronze might be slightly trickier to carry yourself out of while on support since bronze is a full on clown fiesta, but tbh if you're not bronze material you'll end up fed as support even if you're not intentionally taking kills and only taking the ones the carries aren't actually going to get. If the carry is acceptable, then they'll end up fed thanks to you, and if not then you get fed on kills yourself and can start snowballing as if you were a carry despite your lack of cs gold.

Very risky, but if you are truly passionate about it (and that you can "lead" a bunch of low elo players through supporting), go for it.

If you want effective results, hard engage supports are probably the best choice if you're going solo, though good Jannas and Sonas can singlehandedly carry teams.
