Why is Irelia and Jax allowed to have...

the same tankiness as a juggernaut champion while also having tons of mobility and more damage?

There is a reason why juggernaut champions are tanky because they lack proper mobility and it is kind of hard to reach the back line.

So why can Irelia and Jax build the same usual items of Trinity Force + Sterak's Gage and get the same health pool as Darius or Garen, but also have more CC and damage reduction than Darius and Garen while also having tons of mobility and having more damage?

Why should I pick a juggernaut champion when I can play Irelia or Jax and do the same kind of tankiness, and also have more CC and also have more mobility and damage than a traditional juggernaut?

Why should I pick a full tank that has just tankiness and will die without outputting proper damage than pick Irelia or Jax that does the same job as a full tank but way better?

OH, this gave me pretty good idea. you could replace sterak this way you have something similar but without bloating the amount of items in the game. and we need something that isn't like item 3071 but can help you deal with armor heavy adversaries.

30ad some lethality (though I'd prefer devs bring back armor pen) 30Armor 30MR 5cdr (maybe no cdr and just AD). 50%mana regen (or a flat mana regen per sec). costs: 3000 Builds from: a new advanced item: item 1037 + item 1004 (to form a ad mana regen 5%cdr item) and item 3105

UNIQUE Passive: gain a shield that absorbs 10 damage for every 33 Damage that was mitigated by the champion's armor. (with cap value?) lasts 10 seconds. UNIQUE Active: Grants a permanent shield to yourself and to nearby allied champions. Shield strength is measured by the Damage dealt to champions that was mitigated by armor, absorbing up to 300 damage. 10 second cooldown (500 Range)

then you take this item 3814 and remove the lethality because there will be enough lethality items give it 60 AD ~300 hp and 5%cdr and 50% mana regen also builds from the item 1037 item 1004 combo mentioned above and item 3052

And then not a single melee bruiser is played ever again. No garen, no darius, no jax. None of them will be viable without this item.

Also means no Camille, so that’s just a sacrifice those other bruisers are going to have to make

Camille is already shit in Top lane that is why she is in jungle mostly

Jax is a high reward Champion. If he manages to survive the laning phase and farm he scales great.I wouldn't compare his to Darius cause the second one is more oppressive IMO early game.

It's really just the bonus HP they get from the item 3078 item 3053 item 3748 trifecta. It totals to about 1150 bonus HP. Then Sterak's pops in when they start dipping low giving them a 'second chance' with 75% of that 1150 for another 863 temporary HP to cut though.

Thats because trinity + steraks is broken, nothing else.

Irelia base stats are terrible for a melee figther, she only becomes so tanky because bruiser items give so much health + damage and then you combine all that HP with her W giving her 50% DR on top of it means shes way more tanky than she should be.

Solution : nerf trinity + steraks.

We decoupled them for Irelia breaking them. Anyone with a Steraks can be tanky and hard to kill even without having Irelia's W. The answer? item 3812

nobody's even buying DD right now

Aatrox is forced to since his healing is complete dogshit.

Yes nerf trinity+steraks even further cuz of irelia. Good solution. Finally not a single bruiser will be played anymore and you can enjoy your unholy trinity of mages, tanks and adcs only.

I think Jax misses a reset on his jump.....

because to much stats come from items rather than bases, especially for tankiness. Though Juggernauts still have more basedamage and tankiness and will out duel jax/irelia on equal gear most of the time.

Also, tankiness is deceptive, in raw stats and sustain, juggernauts are still superior, but divers like jax tend to have solid tools to shut down enemie damage and take down the source befor it gets ugly for them. Also, beeing mobile and smaler makes you a harder target. Cho for example feels fairly squishy in the late despite 7k HP because EVERYTHING hits him all the time, he just takes ALL the damage and has no reliable way to prevent that from happening. In contrast, when Irelia goes in, she quickly is deep in the backline and out of range of most frontliners, dodgeing half the skillshots on the way and shutting down AAdps for a while with her Ult and often getting a kill befor anyone really can turn onto her.

The main question is, why should i pick a tank then divers also bring good CC and about any CC is enough to secure a kill with the overall absurd damage these days. Why get a malph ult when jax Q+E combo works just as good for setup on less CD and paired with strong push and 1v1? Why get Nautilus when Camil has a save lockdown from higher range and for longer duration? Why play Orn when Irelia has a brief AOE stun followed by a massive aoe slow that can setup fights for you?
