This is called "luck", it is a side effect of the random matchmaking for the last two seasons and the fact most players are too bad to work as a team and mitigate matchups and chance.

yep. luck is largely factored into the game and its matchmaking system. how much luck should be in a game is debatable however. some people are bothered by the fact you are allowed to play in other divisions even at a lower rank. i find myself agreeing and hate to see silvers in my gold games or platinum on the other team. disivions house different numbers of players, bronze containing the most and are comprised of nearly half of the league players in the server. the problem i see isnt the division but the LP itself. the number is much more inflated of value the lower the rank you are, bronze 5 wins a game, they get 15 lp, that is marginally closer to bronze 4. the very bottom of bronze 5 should be getting like 3 lp per win while middle of bronze 5 gives 7 or 8 and finally the top of bronze 5 you get 10. these are just mock numbers but now with those mock numbers say you are in silver 3, you win a game you get like 30 league points a win, but in order to get to silver 2 you need 170 lp to go to silver 2. and so on and so on.

i got off topic sry. just my main point i think that bronze can play with bronze silver with silver gold with gold plat with plat and diamond 5 thru 3 with themselves and diamond 2 thru challanger play together. instead of having mixed leagues. then when iplayer is at the top of their class or whatever, they get a chance to be promoted

BRO!!!!! i went on a 15 wins steak and now i find it VERY hard to win, not because my opponents are skilled or smart but because my team mates are bad or i under perform. and when i say under perform i mean die 1 time or cant solo kill the enemy laner while im trying to split push or something. if you go and search me up, you can see i dont play ranked a whole lot but i play a lot when i win. if you can see my past 30 games or so, you will see exactly what i mean.
