how is it that every other game, is just 1 side wrecking ball?
Sometimes you are on that side. Sometimes you aren't. Every 3 games its just one side gets wrecked so incredibly hard.

For instance my last 2 games were so one sided. I was on the winning side one game and the losing side one game. And to be honest neither of those games were actually fun.

No one on this board understands what you mean. I've been experiencing the same thing. Either my side stomps real hard, or I get a team of 4 bronze+ 1 silver (me) against 5 plats. Like what Riot??
Something is definitely up with the matchmaking system.
Could you link that game please?
I mean, you play Shaco so that's to be expected..
It's like riot flips a coin and says "maybe we will put the top laner with 2000MS ping spikes on this team" so then you get screwed while "AN ALLY HAS BEEN SLAIN" sound plays and your top lane swain dies again to rengar.
Listen, after the pre season 6 patch, that type of game never went away. games used to be 20 minutes or surrender. it got better though
Now they are 10 minute long with the remaining 10-20 minutes hoping those 0/10 noobs will surrend-
1:5
K den.
only people who hope to surrender games are ones without the knowledge and or skill to turn around a game.
If you're evenly matched against the enemy team skill wise, and down 5k gold at 15 minutes, just /ff
OR if you have an early-game comp and lost the early game hard enough against a comp that outscales you as well, just /ff
or learn how to play from behind and develop the skills to overcome that type of situation you know get better as you should actively be trying to do when you play competitive games and that is where the fun is supposed to come from. not surrendering any time you fall behind and hoping you luck into a win next game
I mean, I don't like to surrender in most situations
BUT
If there's less than a 10% chance to win, or if winning relies heavily on the enemy making unprecedented mistakes, it makes more sense to throw in the towel and move onto the next game :)
in an on going game you cant measure your chances going up or down by %s and in the games your chances of winning always heavily relies on the enemy makeing mistakes from minute one to the ended no matter who is fed. the enemy has to continue to make mistakes for you to continue to be ahead of even catch up. The situation never changes only how much works you have to put in and putting in that work is the point of playing the game in the first place
There are three kinds of people who write "/ff" in chat.
yeah if you're low elo like me it's because people are bad and if the enemy has 1-2 players that are actually good, they'll win simply out of knowledge of the game
I've noticed there's 2 ways games go 90% of the time
your team gets crushed from minute 1, and no matter what you do your team falls more and more behind because of how insanely easy it is to snowball now, leaving no hope but to either surrender, or if you have those "never ff" guys on your team, wait until they take the nexus, usually while spamming mastery and taunt emotes. And vice-versa when your team crushes the enemy.
one team is crushing the other team, same as in game 1, but the winning team fucks up once and gets aced, then the losing team barrels down mid and ends the game because turrets are made of paper.
God I hate the "never surrender" types of people, like holy shit just swallow your fucking pride and click yes, no need to waste 20 more minutes of REAL LIFE time that could be used for literally anything else more productive, but instead you're forcing me to play this LOSING game just cause you feel too proud
While I will agree in most cases, it's not always due to pride. There is ALMOST always a chance that you can turn it around if you get in a good situation or play to an advantage (like TheOneTrueBrand said in example 2). However, there are cases where it is a ridiculous ass stomp and people should really just surrender.

if they are playing lategame champs it makes sense, every game is winnable
nope
Hmmm I don't know, let me think...
I CAME IN LIKE A WRECKING BALLLLLL
dude the best player of the losing team should not lose lp period
I really like this idea. It will make sure people try their best
This is an issue called "Snowballing is out of control and the surrender vote takes too long to get to." Happy to help!
Thanks ~~Obama ~~ snowballing, they need to make more first blood things... like first killed minion blood, first drac blood, first killed crab blood etc... [slayer-jinx-wink]
well it all depends on match ups and team comp
this is because , there so many BOOSTED people and SMURFS in the same team.. boosted retards + smurfs = destruction bro.
Bc one team gets ap mf top with kog ewukong bot
True. I don't even enjoy winning anymore because it just feels like I'm shitting on the enemy laner and there's nothing they can do (or vice versa) and it just takes the fun out the competition.
global gold and minion push is your answer. thats why. season 6 patch.
I actually had a game recently that was the most back and forth game I've played in probably a year.
It only happened, because out of the 10 people 4 were clearly better than the other 6, but despite being split 2 per team, they almost never actually fought. All 4 of us, ended up in different positions, not facing off, then when a gank happened against them, it'd almost always be the other 3, and often it'd end with a double or triple kill.
You'd fight, and they'd open with their power players, then when they'd die, the other side's power players would come in and tie up the kills. Yet neither team had crazy pushing power, but both had reasonable clearing power.
Aram isnt random if you play enough you see that the game tries to balance thing out or pit 2 diffrent compositions against each other they will pit divers vs poke composition which most people will see as being unable to do anything but all you really need to do is focus targets togehter. they try to balance 2 healers on each side of one side with a healer and another side with amazing self sustain
I just want people to stop giving up because they've messed up a little. That's all. But then its just the League Thanksgiving Dinner after that because junglers are so important, and if they neglect a lane for whatever reason, the babies start crying.
Really, the jungle dominance on every lane, and top's hypercarry ability over bot is a big factor. Plus matchmaking is just wanting you to lose or win, not to have even games.
