I know. But I like feeding the stereo type. Partly because I've noticed Vaynes seem to have a higher chance of toxicity than other ADC's. Not sure why. I'd think it would be Draven (with that feast or famine passive), but they seem to be pretty decent most of the time.

I agree with feeding the stereo type, It seems to be true sometimes. Once in awhile you will get that ADC that doesn't flame at you if you accidentally take a kill. But the thing I hate most is when you get them a double kill and you say "Nice job Vayne!" and they dont say anything back, then later you take 1 kill and they freak out on you! Vayne Thresh

Reminds me of a game I got feed as Nasus and I kept getting kited super hard and our Leona saw this and helped me out. We 2v5'd the enemy and I got the credit.

It was awkward because I knew it was only because of Leona that they couldn't out peel me so i just typed.

"You can carry me any day Leona <3" in the post game chat when the enemy surrendered and raged at top lane Zac.

Also as a support main, the best feeling is when someone notices you. You don't have to say "Omg this Thresh is madlife. Such good, carry me." A simple "Gj :)" or "Nice pull" or "thanks for the save" is all it takes. Same with every role. The KDA doesn't show how many times you saved someone.

The key is to just show appreciation.

As a support main I can say the enemy team seems to notice me more often than my teammates do.

Which is equally good, I mean, if they're noticing me it's because I'm making their life hell :P

the only champion that i feel people actually notice when they carry as support is Blitzcrank and thats because if he hooks you everyone on the map see's you in the middle of the team. While Thresh you just get rooted and people tend to not notice lol.

I was playing Teemo top once, and i roamed to mid before backing to place some shrooms in a random i-wouldn't-try-to-gank-my-mid-laner-if-i-were-you spot near our mid turret. While i was buying items i noticed i was a few gold short on finishing my item 3157 and all of a sudden-

You've slain an enemy!

It's not so much wanting a constant stream of praise as any recognition when it's due. Support players get like this because people are quicker to recognize the contribution of basically any other player first, while supports are seen as riding the coat tails of the big damage dealers. It's frustrating when you know your utility is what is making things happen all game and get no comment, then a ward dies and everyone is raging at you for no vision.

Constant stream of praise was hyperbole, any recognition is pointless, your job as a support is to setup kills for your team and if they take kills then the cycle is complete.

They usually only get flamed for not grouping if they've just been caught 1v5. In which case they weren't really carrying, they just thought they were.

Everyone has their lense. Did you miss the point? And, besides, you get flamed much harder for carrying when your team is doing poorly. Because they want you to group and make them look better. Split pushers always get harassed and they get harassed more when their team is doing poorly.

Amen brother i main support in gold, have a 3.5 k/d/a as support naut and a 57% win rate in rank. So I own support role. But the first time adc gets fed. clueless about how to play adc and he is the Man of the game. facepalm no love for support

I tend to praise the support on my team if he/she's doing well. One game i had when i was playing top lane we had the most op Thresh as our support and i swear 99% of our fights were won because he was so good at peeling, locking, and lanter'ing us to safety, he had the least amounts of deaths on our team also.

and whenever he did die(or if one of us died) we would all just be like "Thresh Dude, you tried to save us but its our fault for overstaying our welcome" we took our deaths like champs and all the while praising each other (esp our Supp) for our efforts during fights, i guess we were competent to understand that no matter how well you do, don't expect to win every battle.

We won that fight because we finally started taking objectives in a more organized manner, and basically carried each other, but most of the praise was tossed at our supp for always keeping us alive just long enough to secure an objective before we party wiped to the fed enemy team.

Too bad these types of team attitudes are difficult to come by.

i hate when support players think that they're the very foundation of their team when they only make up one fifth of it

Yeah, this really irks me too.

I once carried a Cait that was so bad, it shouldnt have been possible. But I got her fed and everything. But as soon as I left her alone for 5 seconds she would die. I go to ward, she dies. I go to gank mid, she dies. So eventually, she rages at me because she cant handle her own 1v1 while having a 4 kill advantage. What did I do? I made an example out of her. I told her she was a lost cause and afked. She thought she could carry because I got her incredibly fed. Naw son. When she finally realized she was hopeless without me, she begged me to come back. She died 11 times before the game ended and raged and afked.

Lesson: This is not the adcs lane, this is the supports lane. I run this. Your life is in my hands. If I even THINK you are mouthing off I will end you.
