Riot: time for an overhaul!!! remember feral flare?? what if we gave i stronger base stats and a passive that makes it broken when used with BORK

its pretty much only bork that breaks devourer.

the passive is op to the point that its retarded. they should remove the lifesteal on the bork passive again and see if that helps with the situation. i dont know why they even buffed the passive. it came out of nowhere and was entirely unecessary.

do you think we would be in this mess, if devourer only interacted with champion passives and items like wits end? the combination in many cases might be strong, but bork is op enough on its own, that champions only need those 2 items to 1v1 anyone they want.

Oh yes, let's nerf BORK because of Sated Devourer. (sarcasm)

Get rid of Sated Devourer entirely. It's a frustrating gimmick that is OP on Ezreal, and makes Junglers more focused on stacks than ganks, causing games to be lost.

Good lord. You're the type of person that would cry out for a nerf on Dorans Shield because it's only OP on Vladimir.

no, lets nerf bork because of bork.

bork isnt just op because of devourer. ever since they buffed the passive for no reason, it has been overtuned. its just that with devourer it really breaks the game.

Can you run that past me again? I don't think I've heard of a single person running Sated Devourer Ezreal.

I don't think life steal is problem I think it's the % health that's the problem

its both a problem. up until lifesteal was applied to the passive, building health "only" meant taking more damage from a bork. but since lifesteal now works with the passive, but it is not affected by thormail, it actually means if youre stacking health youre just giving the adc larger health returns on each attack.

meaning stacking health can actually make the situation worse for your team, as an adc who chunks down a tank heals a lot of health off him and is harder to kill. especially if he also has a bloodthirster in his inventory.

It also makes it crowd out other on-hit items (Wit's End) because it's onhit works with lifesteal, and other non-BT sustain options (like Hextech Gunblade).

Because BotRK just does sustain better than Gunblade (unless you synergise really well with both AP and Spellvamp and can benefit from the AD somewhat) while also being the superior onhit item because it has pretty much the strongest on-hit effect (and some AD which is just on-hit damage which benefits from lifesteal and crits) and can also sustain with it's onhit.

I really don't know why they made it work with lifesteal, as if that wouldn't make it the perfect on-hit/attack speed bruiser item.

But how will BotRK crowd out both other on-hit items as well as Gunblade if it doesn't also have stupid amounts of lifesteal?

Riot reintroduces Feral Flare. Community calls for BotRK nerf. Nevermind that its mostly certain champs with incremental cooldowns and True Damage tied to on-hits that can abuse Sated Devourer.

Its particularly strong if they switch target to a full HP champ. Its 16% of their health in one hit. Plus they can lifesteal off this amount. I had Zeke's herald as bard support and our shyvana 1v3d on her own while I just tossed a few autos and 2 or so qs out. Her sustain was pretty sick. If only they had ignite though. But still a 1.5 (since i was helping)v3 shouldn't hinge on having ignite.

It isn't 16% health in one hit. The on hit effects are applied in two separate instances.

It's 8% first attack then 8% twice the second I believe which is still too much

I like Ruined King the way it is. Blood Thirster is good for squishies, but you need the bonus damage + armor pen to deal with the tanks.

Riot needs to figure out what BorK is actually supposed to be. right now it's kinda the kite-assist anti-kiting lifesteal burst-damage sustained-damage tankbuster item.

Zair Umbras1 votes

I'll go ahead and leave this here for those who think BT is for squishies and BotRK is for tanks....

BT gives 80 flat damage.

BotRK gives 25 AD and 8% of current health. For 8% of some one's health to be equal to 55 (The Difference between BotRK and BT), they'd have to have 687.5 health.

Your average carry has 2k health late game and they'd need to be at 687.5 health before BT becomes more damaging AA-wise. Let that sink in for a second.

BT is for champions with big ratios. BotRK is for champions who don't have very large ability ratios or when there's 3 tanks or one fat Cho'Gath.
