There is a significant amount of angry posts saying that Fizz shouldn't be invulnerable on his Playful / Trickster and many more posts stating that it should be removed from the game entirely. We all know that Fizz annoys us.

However, we are also fully aware that deleting the move or making him completely vulnerable during the Playful / Trickster would ruin him entirely. But what if, perhaps, Riot made it to where he was only Invulnerable whilst activating the ability, but was completely vulnerable while stalling out in the air. It would force him to use it more carefully and he would slightly more counter-play without completely ruining his kit.

To be honest, Fizz is a champion that needs to be reworked. As long as his Playful/Trickster exists, he will never be balanced (get it because he balances on a pole haha ok im leaving) in this meta. The ability itself is outright better than any other basic ability in the game, and even some ultimate abilities (looking at you Kassadin) while remaining on a fairly short cooldown.

Could Fizz do with a rework? Yes.

Is it completely necessary? Well, no.

Chances are (No offense to Riot and their devs) a rework would ruin this champion or his classic feel. I absolutely hate Fizz, almost on the level of how much I hate Teemo. But I wouldn't want to see him completely dropped from ranked play due to a botched rework. A simple nerf to the level of invulnerability he recieves would most likely suffice.
