It's pretty bad. Stuck in never ending games because people can't accept defeat while 1 person is intent feeding and one is afk.

I will say you should keep a pink ward with you. If there's no good lane to gank, drop that ward at dragon and if they have no vision, you solo it.

There are other things you can do besides gank in the early game.

I always carry a pink ward, no matter what role I'm playing. Vision is important.

If you gank bot and it results in a double kill with no return kills, the only thing that should show up in chat is "Good gank, ty", I don't care who got em.

Feeding the adc is nice, yeh, but a lot of people seem to forget the other benefits of an empty lane. Free farming, possible tower damage, low pressure warding, and denying enemy creeps. That's a whole bundle of things we can do with that free 30 seconds.

So what I'm saying is, "Good gank, ty"

You forgot about seasonal changes to the jungle we have to suffer through. (really hoping Riot doesn't do another full overhaul of the jg and items). Even during the season junglers get so many changes on items, sometimes being nerfed to oblivion, sometimes being on the perma ban list (so thankful to the juggernauts, it's been a while since all the bans haven't gone towards jg).

Truthfully I'm tempted to change roles now, even though I am so much better at jg than any of my other roles. It gets so irritating to go from Warrior junglers one month, next month cinderhulk, if you don't you get flamed :/ just last weak got flamed because apparently cinderhulk is a troll item and I should be going devourer. If not that your getting flamed for by your laner who lost lane, I used to be a mid main back in Season 2 and I honestly don't remember getting flamed as hard when I played mid.

I've been playing League of Legends for years now and I can definitely feel for your struggle, although Ranked was never part of my playstyle until the last week of S4.

I'd never brag that I'm a great jungler or say that I don't deserve my fair share of criticism when I'm having a bad game or trying out something new. But the flaming this year has been absolutely unfair and undesirable just because of how jungle itemization has been tilted in favor of one specific route and set of junglers that I don't specifically care for. The devourer trend got old fast and it's pretty much "Build this and outscale the other jungler or lose the game and it's your fault."

I've never really been a fan of following the major jungle trends. I prefer doing the junglers that feel fun to me. I main Shaco (everywhere :D) and I don't always do the Warrior path. Sometimes, I run Cinderhulk. Other times, I like to test out the good old Runeglaive Shaco. I rarely ever do Devourer Shaco, I hate the whole idea of Devourer. I hate Devourer Udyr, Devourer Yi, Flavor of the season Shyvana and whoever else is brokenly overpowered in the jungle after every slight jungle change / addition.

Now, some may say that Shaco could be considered a flavor of the times champion to play, but I've played him since the day he was released. And I've loved playing him throughout the times. He's always been my go-to for having fun, he was also my first Ranked Pentakill and I'm pretty damn proud of that.

OP I know that feel.

Sadly, laners suffer from the delusion that the match revolves around them and winning their lane. Yes, it's certainly good to win the lane. But they don't really understand that there are other people who need help and that the junglers (us) can't wait around at their beck and call without falling behind and never catching up.

Just play with some premade buddies if you don't want to experience this.

People need to give junglers some slack. Keep in mind we get hunted down by all of runeterras animal welfare groups due to the amount of animals we kill. The blue buff is endangered cus of all the greedy mid laners, and we get the blame!

Malphite is a fun champion, I won't deny you that.

I just like to have a little variety in my kit. I feel like you only have two ways to play Malphite well, although I never really did much experimenting with Malphite. I mean, I know there are a number of build types you can go with on him, but I've never found them, nor his kit, very interesting to me.

Im a top player and usually for me its this:

Top(me): farm... farm... faaaarrrrmmm!!! enemy jg has already ganked twice

Mid: thinks they are Faker(idk the pros all that well) or some shit and has already died before jungle camps spawn

Bot: ADC yelling at Supp for attacking minions, Supp is crying and about to AFK.

Jungler: gets Devourer

-20 min later-

Top: still trying to farm but i lost because enemy jg and my lane opponent have dived me under the turret for the 3rd time; need help no where is safe

Mid: still feeding, blames jg except the enemy jg didnt even gank them so they lost a 1v1... needs help because they suck

Bot: ADC and Supp are also getting camped by enemy jungler, ADC blames Supp and vice versa... needs help because they cant cooperate

Jungler: still farming for Sated, hasnt ganked once even though enemy jg is already Sated... its a 4v5 because wont help anyone...

This. Specifically this is why I hate sated devourer.

That is a poor mindset. Just because someone can't hold a 1 v 1 doesn't necessarily mean they suck. Some players are genuinely better than others. Some have poor picks and/or are counterpicked.

Under normal circumstances I would agree, but I've little sympathy for someone who blames a jungler for not ganking a lane where you could just sit and farm under tower.

Question (from Jungle to Jungler)

What paths do you usually follow to gank? I know most people comes from river but coming from behind works really well with Lee and tower diving usually work if you target is at around a third HP (anything more than that is a gamble)
How good are you at counterjungling and control jungling? I have had a lot of games when ganking becomes impossible so the right moves on that cases is to bother the enemy jungle so he won't be able to gank either, dragons/barons can also be a good way to spend your time.
How good are you at actually initiating teh ganks and allowing your teams to follow up instead? In around 80% of the times on solo que is better to start the fight yourself (as a jungler) and allow your teammates to follow, that way you don;t have to rely on their abilities and you don;t have to waste time sitting on a bush waiting for them to hit their skillshot, a cc enemy is easier to hit with skillshot anyway

First off I just want to say look at my name so you already know the role I play. The thing that gets me mad the most and I don't care what lane it is. If you're low and your opponent isn't then back off and recall because your just asking for the enemy jungler to take your life and possibly turret. Omg I can't tell you how many times I've heard the dead person go "so close" if it wasn't for X jungler. No it wasn't close it wasn't close at all and you pushed the lane with low hp and no vision what did you think was gonna happen the enemy jungler was gonna say hey this guys is tricking me with his low hp and the minute I gank him he's gonna use some massive heal and delete me. It's a nice prospect but no.

Ive started playing jungler more and i got to gold in a week from silver 4 on another account with a few things in mind.

Predict enemy ganks early.

Learn champion make up, Examples: Leona likes to engage at level 2-3 i better do a early gank for her aggression; Malphie Support hit 6 i should go bot to prepare for a counter engage. "I hope you get the idea" ********This is actually the most important knowledge.

Buy wards and upgrade your trinket and put them around dragon. Sometimes you can see that nasty bad jungler heading bot and you can meet up for a counter gank.

Also when you see someone pushing lane/ engage its better for you to take that opportunity and gank then stop for red buff or wolfs you might just save a life and/or clean up. Yes the enemy jungler can invade, but Isn't that why we placed wards.

Jungle is my least role because i am just afraid of doing it and after being a support main and top laner for so long i learned to read match ups. I then wondered why don't 90% of junglers do certain things. Its the fact there just bad. I took a jungler i wanted to main which ended up with 40% winrate within 15 games and then i took that 40% winrate to 56% once i got a build i like and followed what i should have in mind.

Jungling is not hard at all after realizing you can supply better vision then support while feeding yourself and other lanes.

So you should not use this a base of how your skills are. It is really easy for a group of plat higher to carry 1 bronze let alone silver. Your friends know how to play off you and you them. Also i am sure their might be an element of VOIP going on when with freinds.

IF you are really good you will figure out how to make the plays regardless of your team.

The question you should ask your self, am i really doing that much with my higher ELO friends or are they getting practice carry others? Usually friends fail at being honest with you cause they like you.
