The last game I played as Pantheon, is what's truly irking me. We had a player who didn't call anything, everyone else had already called and locked in. He just chilled until he called "ADC". Cool, easy game, easy life, right? We had 5 people call their lanes, no conflicts?

Then he locks in as Malzahar...

This is where it starts to spiral downhill. We get into the game and our Azir starts dying a bunch, that's no problem. Unskilled players go to normals to learn how to play their champs. Fine by me. But we get to the 20 minute mark and Malzahar pops a surrender vote while we're not losing, but we're not necessarily winning.

This is where it goes downhill. This Malzahar, who was 3/4 at the time roughly, just goes straight into the enemy team and begins his intentional feeding. He made it a point though to stay behind the Azir in deaths. I can forgive the Azir, as he was trying to play the game still, not intentionally throw it from a decent match up. I've dealt with the intent feeding trolls for years, you just deal with them, report them and move on. The part that really pushed me over the edge is the enemy team supporting and encouraging this troll and since it was a nice five man premade as stated by them, they also decided it would be best to report everyone on our team except Malzahar, because Malzahar gave them such an easy win. They were cheering him on the entirety of the game and it was just an over-the-edge toxic thing to play around. He was doing everything in his power to do and give them objectives.

It's not the trolls who make this game unfun and unfair, it's the people who encourage them to continue to do so. The ones who think it's funny and cute to ruin the game for the enemy team by encouraging their player to intentionally feed or throw the game as hard as possible.

Yeah, i had a zed that said support and locked in zed with ignite, i thought he wasnt bad cause he was level 5 mastery with zed and silver, boy i was wrong, he had 2 deaths in 3 minutes, then our top laner, riven, told him to afk, but then he started feeding other lanes and completely lost us the game. He ended up having 16 deaths by 25 minutes and finishing as 0/16/2, the enemy team wouldnt report him and said ez games noobs, you guys suck, and then, for posting this riot deleted this, told me to shut up and that was the warning.

The reason this happens... There are no real punishments. Someone can do some really messed up shit like that in a game, get reported, get perma banned, then start a new account for free and start the process over again. THIS IS NOT TOXIC IT IS A FUCKING PLAGUE ON THE GAME. Toxic people are manageable... but that needs a harsher punishment.

I had a similar game once (keyword: "once") in ARAM...except the totally opposite happened.

When the feeder - after having proclaimed he would do so in all-chat due to something he was not happy with, some inexperienced player on our team or whatever (and being bashed hard by the other team for that statement) - started walking up against the other team, all(!) of them either backed away from him or just went around, ignoring him completely - they deliberately didn't touch the feeder at all (apart from a couple accidental AA's on occasion and the towers did the rest).

I had to honour all on the other team, both for that and because all 5 of them bashed the flamer in all-chat for his..."rather unintellectual behaviour", to put it nicely.

After that, he kept his mouth shut, and started to make an effort, but after having sold all his items, being 2/27/3, and we were down to the nexus towers, there weren't much he - or any of us - could do.

I had no problems with that defeat, simply because of the support from the opposite team, and how they all said they would report him regardless.

However, this was some years ago, when this game was more fun and entertaining than the current flamebattlegrounds it seemingly is today. I now maintain the current honor is NOT getting reported - I didn't think that way 2 years ago, so something's gone downhill since then.

I would send a ticket to Riot, personally requesting them to view the match. I dearly hope they get warnings or so on for such awful behavior. That's worse than trolling because it's a team effort to feed off this guy then report those who did nothing wrong and honor the actual troll. No way should they get away with it.

Getting the enemy team mad is a legit stragaty to winning, but reporting people for NOT trolling? That's just low.

Well if somebody is going to lane and dying over and over, lets say 4 or 5 times, then the game is already ruined for me. I don't want to be playing with people lacking common sense which is why I'd like to have the ability to leave norms without penalty.

I mean.. you main Shaco so... jk jk Jokes aside.. I completely agree with this. Trolls and feeders want attention and those who gives them attention will just encourage more troll.
