A thought about Baron/Dragon steals: Should they work on a "stand in circle" system instead?

I absolutely despise it when someone undeservingly steals our Baron buff or Dragon kill, and would love to see a new system so that it's not nearly as easy to yoink it.

In Heroes of the Storm, whenever you kill a mercenary camp or boss camp, it leaves a circle that you need to stand in, uncontested, for about 1-1.5 seconds in order to get the reward. This way, if someone really wants to take that bonus from you, they have to fight for it rather than just snipe the creeps.

I'd love for League to take a similar approach, rather than continuing to allow for cheapass Lee Sin dash-and-grab jobs, Ezreal snipes, etc. By making it so you have to stand on a spot for a second or so, it means you have to put in a much more concentrated team effort if you want to steal a Baron buff.

This doesn't have to also exist for red and blue buffs, but at the very least I'd like to see it done for dragons and Baron.

Undeserving is going threw 5 people that know your the only other champion with smite, getting to the objective, without dying, and in time that you cant be killed because your to early, and smiting before the other jungle.

or the other jungle is a huge failure.

I think its fair.

Well I don't think it is, especially if the other jungler has LAG.

So its to hard to steal? or is lag the reason something should be balanced in gameplay?

No, I mean lag when you are the one trying to prevent the steal.

the game is not going to be balanced around laggy people. if somebody managed to steal it, they deserve it entirely.

Nothing undeserved about it. Everyone knows the rules and if you don't have proper knowledge of the enemy team and what they're doing so it comes down to a coinflip, then that was your decision.

Then those rules are flawed.

Simply "I don't like them" does not make them flawed.

Truly, what a horrible game where players who make mistakes are punished.

i absolutely despise it when i play jungle ward the outer parts of the pit and nobody tries to check/clear the wards that are already in said pit and the enemy jungler just walks in to smite it because i was the only one trying to destroy him or at the very least keep him away from it
