I think the game could become more diverse by shifting away from the must-have-ADC meta. Just a thought.

The big problem is, if Mordekaiser's rework ends up being a success, he will be getting nerfed out of the role in no time at all.

His entire gameplay pattern bot is:

Shield + Sustain
Out Level the other guy and take turret upon reaching level 6 while he is 4
Take dragon and another turret while having a 4 levels advantage

He feels incredibly binary and feast/famine right now. I dont see him being allowed to be viable for very long. The only way a 325 immobile melee that got range nerfs can be viable bot is if he can bully the fuck out of his enemy.

Yes. By definition, if Morde is actually good as a bot lane carry, there will be more to bot lane than adcs and supp...obviously.

There is a need for an adc because they take towers quickly and at a range making it much easier to siege so there will probably always need to be an adc.

Agreed. But I am interested to see what (future) bot lane bruisers/ mages could offer to make up for loss of sieging power

You see the problem with that is. Mord cheats. ADC's don't really need levels as much as everyone else. They just need items since they rely on auto attacks. That's why they go duo. But mord completely bypasses this disadvantage with an XP boost. And that's the problem Mord is going to have, since he cheated to get into the bot lane, he's going to be stuck in the bot lane.

But that said, I don't believe that Mord will replace the ADC. He'll just swap their positions. You'll most likely have an ADC mid lane if your running Mord in the Duo lane.
