what if instead of slowing targets hit, it slowed targets in its area during it's duration, which would have 2 effects, more likely/easier to hit, an would sync w/ rylai's crystal scepter.

i would honestly agree with this, since, other than your passive, its your only way you can get stacks and healing. But it's intention was to E and W in front of them and use your passive to drag them onto it so it explodes on them.

it's a good idea, but either way would work for me personally, but i do agree with you a bit, especially as a zoning/chasing tool

tbh it's not nessessary, like i mentioned above, but knowing riot, this wont go through, just like no matter how much we bitch about the new rageblade (which now nerfs the fuck out of kayle, varus, kog'maw, and makes them trash as hell now) it gives the ALREADY broken champs Yi, Jax, Udyr, Tryndamere a god damn steroid, and riot isnt gonna listen to us, so its not gonna go through anyways

that's the problem w/ the community, there isn't enough people actively upvoting/ commenting on good ideas to make their voice heard on a subject.

even then i dont actually see riot actually looking at them let alone putting it into action. to be honest riot decides their patch based on how they feel the meta is, and pro play as well. they do not take people like us into consideration tbh (i apologize now though, i'm pretty livid with this rageblade update and ahri micro-rework (ahri main and i feel there's nothing wrong with her...and i can assassinate any non-squishy in 0.87 seconds)

I concur. Voting is not a good system of measurement, and because of it's unreliability people lose faith in it.

No way to test how much either would effect gameplay, but maybe, although doubt it cause if all the extra coding/work that would have to be done.

It grants vision already. It shouldn't do too much. You can combo into the W if you know what you're doing so it's fine as it is.

do you hear yourself? "you can combo into the w", 1) not all players have that skill level, what does riot want to do ? limit players champion pool, i.e. cause them have less fun? 2) its range is so large that you cant combo w/ it, 3) there are a bunch of abilities that are much shorter range that also grant vision and landable on their own.

I dont, this isnt for me, it for others, because he is unappealing to play as for alot of lower skilled players, an this suggestion might make him more appealing.

You shouldn't need to make a champ appealing for low skilled players. He's too good right now because of everyone's complaints that he was bad.

lol, he not even that appealing to high skilled players, sure rework boosted his play rate for a short while but now it has dropped below what is was before rework because their are much better champions to choose from for what he does, some of which require even less skill than current swain, an part of the reason he is not appealing is his w now takes 2.5 X times longer to proc than old w. it like have to play perfect an I get its dmg, or it o wow vision of my lane that I'm in an no combat advantage for 70-130mana, or do I spend that mana to see if jng ganking me an then I wont do anything for 20 sec while it on cd.

I'm sry but you sound like a person that got his butt kicked by either a skilled player that went swain or a bronze swain, now what does that say about you?

That's a cool idea. I don't know if it's right or necessary but if his W needs to be made better I think that this would be a great way to do it. +1
