I honestly like the PBE item changes

It's a huge buff to mages (wtf boards did you miss the new Spellbound Orb? It's an item that screams "if you want burst rush me, if you want poke rush Luden's, if you want dps rush Liandry's"). (Or you could be a moron as usual and keep building Morello's on everyone until the first LCS, when pros will point out that big item changes justify big build changes.)

I'd also like to point out that the new jungle item is a much needed buff to Junglesticks, for whom mana and vision control are of extreme importance, so being able to have ward clearing + ward trinket + slowing smite without having to choose 2 will probably be great.

So... well, good job RIOT, these changes look good and personally I'm looking forward to seeing how will they affect the game.

Well I think the AP update is shit, just like the last update. Too much CDR, loss of AP, no defensive items or buffs to Zhonya's or Veil. Again just another shitty job in my opinion.

Very little AP was lost, and the passive changes mostly make up for it. Also, Spellbound Orb makes up for it even better than the passive changes on burst mages, and they are the only ones that don't really appreciate the additional CDR so that's fine.

If you want tankiness you can still mix tank items in your build: item 3030 is literally the only item that lost HP, while item 3165 gained it.

Well if you count the net 20 loss this time, with the loss of last couple updates, its a lot.

We don't want just health as defensive options. We need more armor and MR items.

I agree.

I think these changes are gonna be really great in the long run. I'm sure there will be bumps in the road, but I think the plan is really, really solid.

I do agree that the new items will definitely help shake things up. It’ll be great to have good damage choice for Kennen without having to gut his gold efficiency by buying mana items. And the new jungle item is nice, too. I do agree, though, that more armor/MR AP items are still needed, and I do agree that removing the other jungle items doesn’t really help anything.
