so how is ryze win rate so far? also not a qq thread

Supposedly a global win-rate of 45%. He's really more of a niche pick to counter tops (such as Jax or Nasus, who he currently counters pretty handily.)

He's still sitting at a 45% winrate about now. The recent buffs to his Q were good for him, but he's still not as strong as he was in Season 4. His rework is coming out next patch so we'll see how that affects him. I suspect his winrate will stay low as people will be getting used to the new kit and they are nerfing his base stats. Riot will wait 2 patch cycles and then give him some buffs to compensate for his low winrate, but people will have gotten used to his kit by then, and then he will become OP, but he won't be super popular until later. He will be picked up in the LCS, and then people will see him as a problem champion and he will be nerfed one or two times, but he will end up with a higher winrate than he has right now.

This isn't a complaint, just a prediction. I might be wrong as his kit isn't that different than it is right now, but I have a feeling that it will progress somewhat as I described.
