What's the point of Red Trinket anymore?

There is very little point for A) Anyone but the support to get the red trinket anymore. B) For ANYONE to get the red trinket.

Since the only invisible wards you have are now trinkets (Which last a pitiful amount of time, 60 seconds) Or sightstones which grant you 3 wards that last for 3 minutes. (And apparently the new support item ward thing which I honestly completely ignore, I am not losing utility abilities for a little bit of vision.)

I personally stick to yellow trinket regardless of my role since preseason. I'm sure in higher elos you have people warding pseudo regularly, but being in Bronze, I'm honestly the only one warding nowadays.

Point is, you only need to really look out for 3 wards coming from the support... and that's about it. The other wards are all visible. Now, say you made the pink wards invisible again, that might change things and make warding dynamic again. Admit it, it kind of sucks to have your ONE ward taken down just because someone happened to walk in the brush and just... take it away. rip 75g.

It's not that item 3341 is bad it's that item 3340 is bad. With the removal of green wards, the warding totem is the only invisible wards on the map, however most teams, especially in higher elo pretty much all use item 3363 anyways

Riot is performing really poorly with the changes this pre-season, especially to vision. Making blue trinket pretty much the only trinket ever used. If the warding totem is bad, then now with the removal of green wards this causes the sweeper to be subsequently bad as well.

What about a sight item jungler?

There's a sight item on Jungler? O_O

lol, I only play tank Amumu in the jungle, so I don't really look hard into what a jungler can actually build. What's the item?

Just looked it up, called Tracker's Knife. Kind of neat, but you lose your smite bonuses (Slow, extra damage, stun on monsters, etc) so ultimately this is kind of useless compared to the other jungler items unless you are a dedicated warding jungler (Which most junglers are not tbh).

That's the one. I love that item makes stalking the enemy jungler much easier while clearing their vision due to the new way red trinket works.

Ok, so you have potentially 5 wards that last longer than a minute, assuming everyone uses their full ward potential. But as the Jungler, you can only put 2 that are (Most likely) not on bot lane. (Hey, I'm learning something) Would you put them at the entrances to the river or near the buffs?

I usually always put one on the raptor camp so they lose their smite buff right away. Other than that I tend to place them in high traffic areas in each bot and top side jungle so my team will almost always know what side of the jungle their jungler is and play accordingly.

Well there you go! You explained it yourself.

" but being in Bronze, I'm honestly the only one warding nowadays." So no, you, personally, don't need the reds. However...

"Since the only invisible wards you have are now [1-2 minute] trinkets... Or sightstones which grant you 3 wards that last for 3 minutes." (as well as the Jungler item you didn't even know about) you see there are plenty of good reasons to have a red.

Yeah, I may be wrong, but at least I'm using this opportunity to learn more about warding. Got laning down (Often end up with the highest cs on the team) But I tend to lose track of people due to lack of vision.) I thought yellow trinkets only lasted permanently 60 seconds?
