Jungle Poppy: Talisman or Machete

item 1039 or item 1041 ?

In general, I have a hard time deciding between these two, for almost any champ.

My clears have no mana issues whatsoever, so the mana regeneration isn't too helpful. Would it be better go to lifesteal, since it already benefits from the mastery (The one that gives bonus shields, lifesteal, etc), or would it be better to have a flat 25 hp per 5 seconds (5 hp per second)

EDIT: Tried it out, Talisman is certainly better.

The health gain from the Q's aoe is very powerful, and it works with both hits.

Technically that mastery works for the hp regen on Talisman as well, so there's no added benefit between the two. I think it's worth experimenting on, but I feel like Talisman will come out ahead, the mana regeneration is minor, but it does help, and typically you get two pops of the 25hp over 5 seconds through her Q and it works on each target that it hits, so overall your sustain is probably better with Talisman.

I would recommend testing both, get a friend to leash your first camp in a custom game, but make sure they do it with the same champion in the exact same fashion so you don't get different results.

Poppy would probably prefer Talisman over Machete since she has a fair bit of AoE damage that synergizes well with the Talisman passive, although I haven't played Poppy so I wouldn't be sure.

However, Machete would probably also be good if Poppy has reasonably good attacking stats and you run the attack speed masteries with some degree of runes.

item 1039 every time. Poppy has low attack speed, and lots of AoE damage. Talisman is better.

Machete. I don't know why the game recommends talisman on anything, the machete always seems to give faster and more efficient clears. I understand what the talisman is meant for but its numbers are so small that it seems to fail even on champions that should synergize with it perfectly.

I think part of the issue is that most champions start either on a 1 or 2 monster camp and the talisman only really pays off when you have abilities hitting 3 or 4 targets.
