Where? I don't remember seeing it in patch notes.

JedenVojak1 votes

Well, since ALL NERFS ARE BAD, hopefully this change doesn't go through.

I'm also amazed that anybody could be happy about a champion being nerfed; that's like being happy about the game being made less fun. I can't really understand it.

If you are not playing Lee Song yourself, this change makes game far more fun.

JedenVojak2 votes

So having a champion which a lot of people like to play, but you personally don't get less fun makes the game fun for you? You're a pretty terrible person.

Ulquiorra9956 votes

Well yes, not having Lee in 1 out of 3 games would make game more varied and thus more fun for me.

So imagine if there's a completely overpowered champ that you don't like to play, but it kills you every game. wouldn't you want it to be weakened? We can't just buff guys until everyone is overpowered. That would just make the game URF mode year round, and that's not fun at all. I'd rather there be nerfs than just everyone getting told that their favorite champ could use some improvements.

Not really. I'd like to figure out what I was doing wrong and see if I could work around it. I don't think any champion in the game is overpowered; they're all too weak overall.

We can't just buff guys until everyone is overpowered.

Of course we can. Just look at MvC2

That would just make the game URF mode year round, and that's not fun at all.

No it wouldn't. It would just make all the champions fun to play, but they're all still killable and resource gated until they aren't.

I'd rather there be nerfs than just everyone getting told that their favorite champ could use some improvements.

I'd rather the champs not all be weak helpless pups and actually be able to move the game on their own if neccissary.

But that's a game that's all about over the top stuff. League is not over the top.

No it wouldn't. It would just make all the champions fun to play, but they're all still killable and resource gated until they aren't.

It would be unfun because it would just be everyone spamming their abilities with little to no cooldowns or mana costs, and that just sounds boring.

That's completely possible. It's just that you can't be allowed to 1v5 the enemy team and win.

I accept that there will be nerfs. It's a part of game health. While they sometimes go overboard, in general Riot has done a pretty good job.

It could be. This is the "League of Legends" after all. Except not, I guess,

Or I guess not, more like "gathering of loosely related above-average guys who have some abilities that are decent but not 'over the top'"

It would be unfun because it would just be everyone spamming their abilities with little to no cooldowns or mana costs, and that just sounds boring.

Strong does not mean resourceless or no cooldowns. League is not a switch that is either "competitively balanced" or URF, that's a false dichotomy; there is a middle ground where champions can have agency and not be resourceless cooldownless power rangers.

That's completely possible. It's just that you can't be allowed to 1v5 the enemy team and win.

Why?

I accept that there will be nerfs. It's a part of game health. While they sometimes

most of the time

go overboard, in general Riot has done a pretty good job.

We're gonna have to agree to disagree. Riot doesn't nerf champions, they obliterate them.

BeatzBoyFTW1 votes

That champion alone is the reason why the Jungle lacks a ton of jungler diversity.

JedenVojak1 votes

No it's not. If the jungle was changed around that monsters were always visible even in the fog of war, and they never leashed back, Ranged Junglers would reign supreme, and which ever one had the best combination of clear speed, sustainability, and utility would become the new god jungle.

Lee doesn't destroy jungle diversity, the design of the jungle does.

You think all nerfs are bad? universally?
....trolling or stupid?

JedenVojak1 votes

Well that statement is a bit hyperbolic - there are rare exceptions where a nerf is actually necessary. As a general rule though, nerfing should be an absolute last resort.

yes cause seeing same champ every single fucking game is so much fun.

Forbidden Siren1 votes

Finally. Geez, I know Riot loves the guy and he has one of the highest play rate but they can't ignore him for so long. I hope the nerf goes through. If they revert it then I don't know what to say other than there's a clear favoritism.

VexingRaven1 votes

Honestly this doesn't even begin to touch what's wrong with him. Being 1-rotationed by a Lee feels like shit, and he doesn't even need the ult half the time early game.
