Is it just me, or are more players quitting?

Hi guys, I started noticing today, that something was different. Everytime when I come home from school, the queue time is always estimated for 3 min. But when I queued up today, and called the same roles (Mid and top) they estimated it 4 minutes. That's odd. It's now 22:00 in Germany. Usually the queue time is estimated as 1 minute and 14 seconds, but right now, estimated are 2 minutes. Remember, these are queue times for normal draft mode, not for ranked. Another reason why I think more players are quitting (except for the fact, that the game is turning shit now) is the number of my online friends. Last week there would be aroun 14 friends online on weekends evenings. Today are only 4. Maybe this is a special day or something, but I'm not sure. What do you guys think?

It's impossible to determine retention rates by looking at your friends list unless you have a huge sample size of friends which you regularly replace and track. Normally you'll just see many of your friends leaving over time, and not how many new players are joining and how long they stay.

If you look at the boards you'll probably think more people are leaving because of Dynamic Queue, but you can't really determine if they are merely the 'loud minority' or not (it'd be like going into a hospital and coming to the conclusion that most humans are dying or are doctors).

TL;DR - It's too hard to accurately assess without hard numbers from Riot or a large scale and properly administered census.

In my opinion and this from what use to be in my friends list, they quit playing league awhile ago. Some message me saying later done can't deal with toxic players and was no fun. I had a lot at th time. Now back to dead solo playing for awhile. In game a lot of ark, more then normal. Don't like match up or the New fill and didn't get what they wanted, I myself hate the fill. Really stupid. Hardly ever get what I pick. Depending on who you get your information from, I read on the web saying 30% drop rate in game play this year alone. But like I said I can't state that to be true. Ask riot. Wouldn't doubt it really. This game can be more frustrating then fun at times. I try to roll with the punches riot throws to there loyal players.
