What are your most favorite and hated lane matchups?
What are your most favorite and most hated lane matchups and why? If you are more of a bot lane kind of person, please tell me which bot lane ADC/Support combo you hate the most? Or if you're a jungler which opponent jungler do you hate the most?
My most hated lane matchups top are:
,
and
, because they are lane bullies and can scale hard into a late game. In
and
-es case they push the lane really hard and if your jungler is a potato and refuses to punish their agressive play, it can become a long and painful lane. What's disgusting even more, once they get their few core items, they can proceed to 1v1 any champion in the game.
Don't play mid a lot, but don't like laning against a super safe pokey type of champions like
or
. Because they can farm from a distance and can abuse the shit out you if you are melee or your range is shorter.
I both hate laning against
, because his laning phase is extremely obnoxious and barely has lane counters. The only way to stop him is to buy defense items. And if you are playing a mid mage, relinquishing mana regen early in the game is really not that great in early.
Love playing against a
jungle, because i have less fears of getting ganked, or if i am the jungler i can put a lot bigger pressure early.
(her early is so abusable)
(he is so squishy and has neither range nor burst)
(just feels fair in general)
Bad:
annoy me the most. They just seem to be unkillable after they get one defensive item.
The worst enemy support for me is
because he seems to do everything better than me and his lantern denies so many safe kills.

and
(with BoTRK second item). The current build with Tri-force is only effective if Yasuo is played as a burst assassin unless Tri-force is paired with Phantom Dancer and Sterak's, but I won't bore you with Yasuo builds.
vs
It's almost impossible to lose lane to a Garen. He's ignorable and punishing him is literal child's play. Because of the sheer frequency of times I've pointed out an enemy Garen having single-digit cs by 10 minutes, my friends have made a meme out of saying, "We get it... it's a Garen." when referring to anything that's a complete non-factor.
This gold-filled pinata as the weakest champ in the entire game has no winning lanes. It's made of paper mache and incapable of fighting back. Simply smack it only once or twice with a stick for instant reward!
It's impossible to lane against him with anything other than a ranged champ and even then it's still a very difficult lane. He gets free AoE damage, free sustain, a massive knock-up+perma-slow that can be cast from off-screen, giant perma-silence and an ult that not only does an unreasonably absurd amount of high-scaling true damage with no cast time, but also gives him permanent tank stats just for spamming it off-cooldown.
. After witnessing Ryan Chois(probably the most famous Rengar main) comeback with stacking
, i instantly witnessed what kind of bullshit Rengar is. But you can downvote me, but to return like this takes a bit amount of skill, map awareness and limits of your champion. If you haven't seen the video, here it is:
His zoning and roaming makes me tilt.
just boring and at a certain point unable to kill them (except jax but this guy is just broken af with guinsoos)
this whole jumping around and how she saves her support every time he fucks up
can go 0/6 in lane and still wreck everyone if she catches up in farm
way too high damage for a tanky support esp at 6

) so I often have very little methods of actually stopping Riven from doing her annoying all-ins. She doesn't usually KILL me because I'm tanky, but she still just goes in, stuns, goes out and it's like "Well I guess I just have to take that".
because I know he's going to go OOM before me.
(Top): I've got a bit of a fun story on this one. First time I ever fed was when I was against a Vladimir in Coop V Ai, and when I moved on to pvp normals Vlad remained the one champ I hated plying against. So I decided to pick him up as a main, to try and llearn how to deal with him. After becoming my second most played champ, I still think this guy's kit is toxic lol.
. Their poke is total bs. Very easy to land and almost 0 chances to dodge. And after they poke you out, one can easily all-in you and the other goes fishing for a binding to drop full combo after. Both are very safe and risk nothing with their poke.
Top:
cause she is like the new riven. Snowballs super hard and super fast. Always scary to go into lane against her with any champion.
- one wrong step and you are dead.
- he will kill you it's only a matter of when.
Support:
is one of the most fun supports to play against to me. I personally only played her once or twice and she feels extremely skill based with proper risk/reward. If i die to a adc/lulu lane i feel like i was outplayed and not cheesed.
, just bait out her tunnel+knockup.
all of these champions either have some form of good poke or sustain, or are very hard to kill or just feel unfair to lane/play against cough
(and sometimes
Mid:
(Her laning is BS for damage)
Supp:
(paired with any ADC with mobility or long range, its terrible)
and don't even bother getting
, and just play APC, not givng two shits about the ADC, or not taking his CS for that matter.
. Just. Tristana. Not only does she have an insanely high AS steroid, a jump reset ON AN ADC, a bomb that is pretty much the AA-Based ADC equivalent of a Zed Ult, that can also be used for melting turrets, and a built in nope button that you can also potentially InSec someone with. But she's voiced by Elspeth so that's a redeeming quality.
is hell for me
anivia's comparatively weak early laning doesn't matter when she has an enormous range advantage over me, and there's no way I can realistically kill her or even pop egg before 6. we both typically hit 6 at the same time, at which point there's enormous pressure on me- as a snowballing assassin- to kill her and start roaming immediately, but it is so hard to get a clean kill on her and she pushes mid lane so absurdly well that I can't really do either. she outscales me, and then zones me away from her whole team for the rest of the game.
puts me on tilt every single time.
Support. It's fun going against another Tristana, especially when I'm playing as her as well, but Karma just can't really help my opponent's Trist do anything but go back to their tower and lose much-needed CS. It also makes teamfights interesting, because the combination of the two in that teamfight can push against your team well enough.
ADC and

ADC and
. She's easy enough to deal with until Level 6, by which time I've already had a Gank or two in my lane and/or I've Ganked a lane.
