How did I get Bronze 5 with a 5-5 placement record?

What were you last rank?

notice the last team you played against in flex was low bronze. so that tells you where your mmr was at in your placements.

yah that tracks the highest possible placement during placements is plat 1 so all the Diamond, Master, Challenger players are being placed 1-3 tiers lower than they should which pushes back all the other ranks. There is a better chance of you not being placed an entire tier lower after those players climb back to their original ranks.

i have a s5 friend who went 4-6...half of our 10 were togteher...and he got s5 like last year...

something is fishy

The first few games matter more than the last. So if you lost your first 5, your mmr must've been already very low. Getting the lowest rank possible does seem a little weird though for going 50% win rate.

Yea, went 5-5 and went from Gold V to Bronze I.

I won 6 and lost 4 . The first games I won 5 then lost one them then won one then lost the rest and got bronze 5 how is this possible
