It is so boring playing either one alone or together but on separate teams, because you don't hear all the interactions. So why not, at least when they are on diff teams, have them trash talk each other. Couples fight.

**Xayah (shouting, from distance): **Babe, what the hell are you doing? Rakan (also shouting from distance): Uh, wasn't this part of the plan? Xayah (shouting): NO! Rakan: Aheheh. whoops.

Xayah: Rakan, What are you doing?! Rakan: Don't worry babe, I've made them think I'm one of them. I'm blending in with the locals. Xayah: Since when have you ever "blended in" with anything? Rakan: Subterfuuuge Xayah: Oh my god.
I feel like they are both immature teenagers, but Xayah would be the one who would start acting like an adult sooner, and would dump Rakan in favor of a more mature bird man, Like Azir, or Swain.
And with that, I have just given a rule 34 artist a disturbing new idea.

I wish that their communication was lined up for the two playing them, i.e. Xayah hear's what the Rakan player hears and vice versa.

We already had Xayah's lines cut due to people who complained about cursing in her dialogue, which, in my opinion, was something so stupid and trivial to complain about. Altering the lines again to include or exclude lines for x thing isn't worth the effort.
But the cursing lines were the best ones. I finally thought Riot grew the fuck up as a company.
If an enemy Rakan or Xayah dance with their counterpart, Xayah will (I assume it's whats going on) slap Rakan's butt and deal damage to him.
