Why dose Jayce get ganked so much?

I've played Cho'Gath Top, I've played Mordekaiser Top, and seen only a handful of ganks maybe one or two camps every few games or so. Every single Jayce Top game I have played there has been 3-4 ganks before the 11 minute mark. I've gotten decent at getting out of them despite Jayces complete lack of CC or good escape tool, but still being pushed off CS for minutes at a time due to a prowling JG or mid lane can really set you back. I've tried just roaming when this happens but this only succeeds in letting top get pushed to inhibitor tower.

I don't know whats going on. Jayce isn't on the OP list right now, in fact hes rarely seeing play at all. What gives?

Jayce is immobile, squishy, and aggressive. He's quite vulnerable to ganks and easy to shutdown in many lanes.

He's also a champion who needs to be ahead to do well; if you can set him behind early, he offers little for much of the game.

When did I say that? All you gotta do is pay close attention to where the jungler is.

Thanks to the dumb as hell ward game Riot has designed that's next to impossible even with a semi competent team.

Well, except the idea is that you pick a good warding spot or two and use the information gleaned to infer where the jungler is and how much danger you're in.

Being easy to gank doesn't mean unplayable. Jayce's problems go beyond being easy to gank.

IDK people keep saying Jayce is bad but every time I play him the enemy team is shocked at how much damage I do. He's underrated IMO despite being easy to gank.

IDK I've faced a couple Irelia's top Once I wrecked her and ended up carrying, the other time I was doing well but the "sigh" got camped and lost. Jayce doesn't have a ton of hard counters, most of his matchups are skill matchups or slightly in his favor.

lol no he's trying to say that he draws attention to the jungler. He tends to push the enemy towards the tower a lot and as you mentioned while Jayce has mobility he doesn't have a reliable escape or hard CC. I've also noticed this when playing Jayce top. Mid he doesn't get ganked as much because the lane tends to be even. If you really want to get ganked play Malzahar

That's why. for a jungler EZganks = EZlife, he doesn't even have the good graces to be tanky like morde despite his lack of tools to get out of ganks

you answer your own question in your post. You listed the reasons why you are getting ganked.

Part of winning is knowing where to spend your time effectively. If that means shutting down top lane that is what is going to happen.

You seem to think this a 1v1 game with other players in other spots; it is not. This is a objective based game where you punish the enemy choices with the goal of winning.
