Lets talk about Taric.

Taric has been part of almost every single cheese strat in pro play and solo queue (because solo queue leads to it being in pro play.).

Lets start from the first one I can remember.
Yi Taric Funnel. Functions the exact same as current Yi Taric. Its actually a cancer to have to deal with. I would rather play against Spell Thief Top or Sona Taric 100x over before having to deal with this strat again. Because at least with spell thief top, and sona taric bot. You can kill them easily if they fuck up.

Guess what Taric Yi do. Remove the ability to fuck up. Unless you are like bronze by nature. Sorry no strat can help you if you are suffering from a mental deficiency.

How does Taric Yi remove that?

You are never able to dodge Taric E while Yi Q's. Which means, that because the E will hit you before the Q registers. Taric pulls the tower aggro, while he is never threatened + if he is threatened Aftershock will proc, lowering the value of damage he would take. Followed by the fact that Yi gets to freely auto you with challenging smite for 2 whole seconds, up to 4. Depending on how good or bad your champion is. And this is before level 6. Post level 6, its the same thing, but now they don't care for the tower. Very few champions can deal with this strat. The only ones that would be able to deal with the pre level 6 are champions with built in dash and blink or untargetability. But even then post 6, they are still unable to do anything as Yi chases them down.

Taric Sona.

Its less about Taric, and more about the strat. But works best with Taric. Hence why no pro team will run sona with anything else. Because taric removes the downside to sona.

I think it is time to have Taric join my boi Ryze in the shitter. He's been in the meta for WAY too long. While we are at it, can we nerf ryze again? I need him at sub 30% win rate, so that I am LEGALLY allowed to call anyone that losses to Ryze shit.

The nerfs I would like to see.

Taric: Now cancels on Linked team mate, if Taric is CC'd. NOTE: Does not stop his, only his team mates. R now also cancels if teammate leaves Tether range. E on ally now cancels if ally goes untargetable or blinks.

Ryze: Requires three stacks of runes in order to proc shield.
