Support Grades With Surrender at 15

Hi, as someone who plays support frequently i've noticed a pretty frustrating pattern. When my adc and I dominate lane together, they get an S to S+ and I get an A or even lower. In a game i just finished I played Janna and went 0/0/8 and my adc went 7/0/2. He received an S+ and I received an A when the enemy team surrendered at 15. I feel supports are already the hardest champions to get level 7 on, and with the introduction of surrender at 15 it has gotten even harder. Are there any plans to fix the frustrating system and how it is tuned against supports? Will the criteria for getting an S on supports change? Is there anything that can be done about this? Thank you for reading and I'd appreciate any response I can get.

I don't feel like that at all, I don't play support often now, but I used to play it frequently and I got S pretty easily.

The mastery system compares you with other support players in your ELO. ADCs do not need as much KP (kill participation) as a support does to get an S, as their mastery score is focused around kills themselves and their CS per minute (in my experience, at least, and I only play ADC/Support except when rarely filled elsewhere).

So, although you participated in most lane kills with your AD, in the system you're expected to roam and have KP from other lanes as well. : )
