@Meddler, context on Blade of the Ruined King changes.

As the title says.

Blade got 15 more AD, 5% Lifesteal, lost 15% attack speed and lost the active.

Now the stats are much better all around, but the active loss was a major blow, that may tip this change list to a nerf instead of a buff. Why not give it the Bloodrazor treatment and make the %health damage, max instead of current? Or increase the movement speed slow/haste.

Also any individual changes to ADC kits?

Experimental changes testing focusing it more on on-hit builds, including as a first item (hence the shift from AS to AD) and less of a duelist item (hence removal of active damage/self heal to buff other elements). Hasn't got much testing yet though.

By reading many of post from here, redit and other, i get the point that its "Eperimental" like its just a test to collect some data over different possible change.

Fine, i can get that this change could be overall fine for ACTUAL ADC that are mostly base on AD ratio, but thats would keep killing ADC that could use AS and on-hit effect. I could get the point too, that removing the actif effect burst, for champion that could abuse it like assassins at the end who use it more than ADC.

SO here is my point with all this, this item NEEDS to go more deep in his own identity and champion for who is realy made for. Make it an evolving scaling item (in someway like Thornmail), look Uping Lifesteal to 15% seems an overall good thing enve the AD a little

Then you could make change the AS and the actif this way :

  • Active : Steal ~5% Max health of the target (+??% based on AS bonus)
  • AS +25% (+??% based on AS bonus)

This would be awesome, and prety balanced as it evolve and not give full stat when builds, AND Assassin could less abuse on the item as they mostly not build AS, and if they do that mean they would realy need the item so i assume its fine.

I'm prety sure my english is trash, sorry ^^ and thanks if you could read it all, i realy think its somehow a good option and hope for some feedback.

with current Bork it does 8% of the targets current health, when your fighting big tanky dudes that 45 isn't going to do as much compared to the current passive which (I'm pretty sure) also pairs up with your auto dmg allowing adc to unload dumb amounts of dmg on tanks (but with current armor stacking is cut by around 45% by the time you build Bork). I like to have a build that will zone anything away from me. Without the passive I'll get dived by the fed tank. And with the extra AS you can get atleast 1 extra hit in.

As for early game you don't need that much AD when it's paired with the passive even if the opponent has 500 health it's still doing a considerable amount of dmg when combined with the base AD of champs. For adcs it's a better all around pick than crit which can get stomped by a fed tank and a bad start to the game. But in games in which the tanks aren't fed then crit is better. As for melee champs, only the ones with good AD Scalings benefit , BUT tank shredding won't be nearly as good and to get to the backline often you can't ignore the front line.

Ontop of that the extra 20 AD when put up against damage reduction will only give you a couple more points of dmg vs a tank with atleast 2K health and around (40% dmg reduction a tank with about 600 gold lead) your only gonna deal about around 75 dmg per auto. Assuming you get Bork 1st item at around 15 minutes.

Champ lvl at 15 mins is about 10-15 (if someone could tell me that would be awesome) but even at lvl 15 at 15 mins with Bork as first item for irelia fighting a tank with 40% dmg reduction she will only deal 65 dmg per auto. And she has higher AD per level and base AD than many adcs who on average have a base of 55 AD and 2.4 AD per level. AND they are duo lane so they are atleast a level behind the top laner and mid. Now compare the 8% current health and it's obvious that vs tanks there's a huge difference.
